  • There are a few agencies that do FaceTime viewings. I will be moving to Glasgow in late August but will pay rent since late July as nobody was willing to wait (and it’s completely understandable). It will be a bit more difficult to find a place in September as many people will move to Glasgow to study at that time. I would recommend to start searching now and just ask if they can do a viewing via FaceTime or Skype and then you can compromise on a date. by gregersco (Tue 9th Jul 2019 3:33pm)
  • I did sent an email to my university but they told me they couldn’t really help me. Thank you for your answer, I am going to get my NIN and then contact NHS again. by gregersco (Tue 6th Aug 2019 6:08pm)
  • I had a health insurance due to both my parents working while I was studying for my first degree, I didn’t mean that the reason for not getting an EHIC is that my parents work, sorry for my English. But, if your home country doesn’t provide health insurance to you you can’t get an EHIC. They told me if I want to get a 2 Degree then I should be able to provide either a private health insurance or work. by gregersco (Tue 6th Aug 2019 6:06pm)
  • Thank you for your answer! I am going to get my NIN and then contact NHS again, as they told me that I will indeed become a free health insurance. by gregersco (Tue 6th Aug 2019 6:10pm)
  • I hope so! I really do, because I can’t get an EHIC as I do not have health insurance from my home country. by gregersco (Tue 6th Aug 2019 8:38pm)

  • Hey, thank you for all the info! I’ve worked in a hospital before and I’m not looking into working in one in the future so I think I’ll be fine with a non accredited one, but thanks again as it is very important! (Caledonian has sadly only a part time postgraduate for 2-3 years for already working scientist.) by gregersco (Thu 9th Jul 2020 4:34pm)
  • Thank you :) by gregersco (Thu 9th Jul 2020 5:12pm)
  • Hey, thanks so much for the reply! I’ll call the Covid lines and hope to get some answers but doubt it tbh. Yeah I’ll have a PCR done a day before coming to Scotland and I’m fully vaccinated but there is another test that has to be done on the 2nd day which obviously I won’t be here for and that’s why I’m wondering if it will be fine. by gregersco (Sat 28th Aug 2021 10:53pm)
  • Thank goodness there are people like you, well done mate! Hope that someone who needs it finds it! by gregersco (Tue 30th Nov 2021 5:21pm)
