  • Def report him, and if you have anyone else who has witnessed it get them to complain too. We had an incredibly similar issue, except with the postie harassing my girlfriend regularly (she has chronic health issues and is always home as a result). She phoned up and complained, and he modified his behaviour temporarily, but when he started again my neighbour, having heard it, also phoned up and complained about him and that has actually sorted it out. He also was not putting our post through the letterbox and instead knocking until we answered, so he could have a go at my gf, but now he just puts it through the door and if its a parcel he just knocks and gives us it without comment. by jellyfishsundae (Mon 18th Oct 2021 12:12pm)
  • Have you tried contacting Cruse Bereavement Scotland? They have groups for those struggling with grief and they offer 6 free counselling sessions (although the waiting list can be long). They have a helpline and support groups too if you don't want counselling. Hope you get the help you need. by jellyfishsundae (Wed 24th Nov 2021 10:25am)
  • [https://www.counselling-directory.org.uk](https://www.counselling-directory.org.uk) Put in your postcode and the times you are available and it should offer you options in Glasgow. Some therapists offer a sliding scale but if your loved one is working they may struggle to find one for less than £40 - esp. if you want someone trained in trauma as trauma training is very expensive. Everyone here is BACP registered and qualified so they are legitimate. by jellyfishsundae (Mon 3rd Jan 2022 10:30am)
  • Hi there, [https://www.disabilityscot.org.uk](https://www.disabilityscot.org.uk) If you put in glasgow and then search under money, benefit and grants there are a lot of organisations. Most of them are benefit advice etc so not appropriate for you, but there are a few that offer budgeting support so you might find someone that can help :) by jellyfishsundae (Tue 18th Jan 2022 4:53pm)

  • Just want to say I completely agree with the above- I did support work for a long time and there can be great perks alongside the hard work (getting paid to take people to the park!), and if OP is looking for casual work support places are often looking for bank staff. The bank staff get paid better, don't have to do the more challenging duties and any of the paperwork. Plus if you mostly wfh it could be nice to feel part of a community. by jellyfishsundae (Mon 21st Feb 2022 10:17am)
  • yeah, good advice. I was thinking about paying a visit to the cafe this week actually as it was closed when we viewed the flat. by jellyfishsundae (Mon 9th May 2022 10:47am)
