  • Any builder who isnt? I might have to move to some new build outside glasgow and just pray scotrail wont get cancelled every day to be able to get a good offer. by junkiebird (Mon 27th Jan 2020 7:25pm)
  • I have a DIP for a max of 250k. I have around 25k as deposit and would prefer a detached home. That just puts me at around 20k deposit and 5k for fees. So if i need to buy a 200k property I need to put 20k deposit plus 20k bid over the valuation. Banks only lend till valuation. So I need to bring another 20k on table to win an offer. looks like i will have to wait for another 2 years to raise that bid amount sadly. by junkiebird (Tue 28th Jan 2020 11:36am)
  • Thank you. Thats helpful. So when dealing with benchmarx, can we directly go in and work on a design or it is through the trader only. by junkiebird (Mon 24th Feb 2020 5:48pm)

  • Do they supply their own kitchen or will they do fittings only for a howden or benchmarx. How is their build quality if its supplied by them. Thank you. by junkiebird (Tue 25th Feb 2020 9:31am)
  • They are shutdown for now. by junkiebird (Sat 11th Apr 2020 9:04am)

  • Its definitely going to be as competitive as pre covid. There are many who are ready to make the move once things starts opening up a bit.Someone who would have bid 15% above valuation would probably rethink doing the same now. by junkiebird (Mon 15th Jun 2020 9:03am)

  • I was in-fact following the road marking which by the looks of it was guiding me towards the correct exit. But it was a bit confusing though whether people were expecting me to take the third exit and not continue straight. by junkiebird (Sun 10th Dec 2023 9:45am)
