  • Hola, I have the same problem. Would recommend trying to find grass to run on unless theres tonnes of black ice like we had last week. I'd dawsholme park for trails or the rugby pitches at garscube if you're looking for something a bit flatter. Used to be able to jump the fence the partick cricket club but they've tightened the security now 😂 by manofsteall (Wed 13th Jan 2021 11:54am)
  • My understanding is they're near enough taken straight from the fridge to be administered. The Pfizer vaccine can be stored for 5 days in the fridge post thaw (and AZ for upto 6 months). To me, it makes sense that there is a surplus from the weekend if the turnout continues to be low.. by manofsteall (Tue 25th May 2021 2:12pm)
  • Cowglen has a couple of short game areas and 200yard ish range. by manofsteall (Sat 21st Aug 2021 9:58am)

  • Largs is a great day out. Nice walks along the prom, can get an ice cream at nardinis and a chippy from the fishworks. If you fancy a bit of a hike, there's a walk through Douglas park to the sundial where you can get a great view across the Clyde to cumbrae, wee cumbrae, Bute and Arran. There's also a classic car event on in millport this Saturday if you fancy a trip across the water. by manofsteall (Thu 12th May 2022 6:27pm)
  • Cheers folks by manofsteall (Thu 28th Jul 2022 7:26pm)

  • My car is pre 2016 diesel but is euro6. Do you know if there's any detail on the detection system? Can see GCC designing some stupid system that blanket charges anything before the threshold for each fuel type.. by manofsteall (Sat 11th Feb 2023 11:40am)
  • I put in a floor anchor in a previous flat's close. Not sure it was strictly allowed but nobody batted an eyelid. Something to look into... by manofsteall (Fri 14th Apr 2023 10:51am)
