  • Step into any supermarket, but you might be too late :( Aldi ones are shit. Morrisons and tesco are pretty good. If you like your friend get nomo or moo free bc they are yummy. Hotel chocolat sells fancy ones, but unless your friend is like super into dark chocolate it's not worth it. by manyslugs (Thu 14th Apr 2022 8:28pm)
  • Crookston Castle is brilliant!! The view from the top is great. Theres like no safety stuff you're just released into a giant stone building to scuttle around. Paisley Abbey is pretty interesting, you can see pencil graffiti from 17/1800's in some areas which blows my tiny mind. Theres also the oldest polyphonic music slate in Scotland in a little case. Govan stones is also very cool, the church is pretty interesting but get a tour of the old stuff, the guys really know their stuff by manyslugs (Tue 26th Apr 2022 10:47pm)

  • late to the party but lawrie vets in cumbernauld is fantastic. I don't drive, its a 3 hour round trip from me but I still wouldn't go anywhere else- every time I think why not try another vet they just end up referring me to lawrie anyway. I don't have rabbits but they have been brilliant with extremely problematic guinea pig stuff and my ducks. Its more common to see people waiting with an owl or lizard than a cat or dog lol by manyslugs (Tue 25th Oct 2022 2:59pm)
  • Linn Park equestrian Centre are doing xmas fair on 15th. Seems to be a bit aimed at kids but they'll have reindeer :) by manyslugs (Mon 12th Dec 2022 7:16pm)
  • There are pet foodbanks that can help with food and supplies, I know that doesn't cover everything but could help https://www.scottishspca.org/pet-aid/donation-boxes For medical care could you provide more details so we can help further? It's definitely worth switching vets for some stuff but hard to say much more without knowing what's going on. If you're burning out from work it's worth talking to a doctor and getting sick leave, from there you could maybe look into other benefits depending on what's going on your health. Citizens advice could help. I work part time for health reasons and know I'd be better off on benefits. by manyslugs (Thu 19th Jan 2023 3:49am)

  • Lawrie vets in cumbernauld is the closest exotic vets. Anaesthetised my guinea pig monthly for dentals for 8 months, and maybe less relevant but my birds too. Always some kind of weird creature in the waiting room. There will be other vets that are experienced with rabbits and aren't specifically exotic surgeries, but hugely recommend going to an exotic specialist for peace of mind by manyslugs (Sun 23rd Apr 2023 6:55pm)
  • I was referred from albion to the dental hospital as I need a complicated procedure, and they couldnt do it either. If dental hospital won't do it albion absolutely won't by manyslugs (Mon 17th Jul 2023 10:12pm)
