  • Depends on the type of Olive Oil to be honest. Greek will taste different from Italian which tastes different from Spanish - I see someone already recommended a Greek deli so try Italian deli's like Celino's in Partick or for Spanish try Lupe's on Gt Western Rd. Online shopping is always a good shout too. by mcilbag (Thu 1st Sep 2022 9:10am)

  • Further down the road from Absolute Roasters is Kaf. Tiny little place with sensational coffee and a very decent line in snacks. You can buy the fancy butter they use in their cakes too along with bottles of hot sauce and a few different wee treats for such a tiny place. by mcilbag (Wed 21st Sep 2022 4:05pm)
  • The whole of the Fife Loop train journey is worth a go, especially the southern stops like Burtisland & Aberdour. Kirkcaldy might be your thing if you like places long past their prime, there's a certain beauty you can experience there. by mcilbag (Tue 27th Sep 2022 1:43pm)
