i’m not sure if this will be helpful but i went private after being shrug off by GP. it’s costly and i burnt out reeeeeeally badly trying to work enough to afford it, so i understand it may not be an option for you. november last year (2022) i went to a new GP to discuss a shared care agreement. she wasn’t certain about prescribing the specific medication i’m on, so referred me to the local adhd team for them to assess. today i got my letter and my appt is next week but it’s only to assess shared care, not if i have ADHD or not. I hate that i’m being seen to before all you folks that really need a diagnosis.
