  • Wee place on Queen Margaret drive, not sure of name, but baking looked home made and not factory bought in like so many others. by milliemoomoo20 (Sat 23rd May 2020 11:35pm)
  • This is what I was afraid of! Thanks for the replies, saved me a wasted drive to Braehead. This chair can wait a few weeks. by milliemoomoo20 (Tue 30th Jun 2020 11:18pm)
  • Just driven past as I was out that way. Queue snaking up and down the car park. Looks like like hell on Earth. Giving it a miss for a week or so. by milliemoomoo20 (Wed 1st Jul 2020 4:10pm)
  • Thanks, that’s good to hear. Hoping they are just to put the fear in me.. (it has worked!) by milliemoomoo20 (Thu 16th Jul 2020 9:03pm)
  • Not that I’m glad you are getting them too, but glad it’s not just me! It actually says at the back This case is not subject to High Court or Bailiff Action. I’ve had a look on a Motor offence lawyers page and they can take it to a civil court, but I think you are right, the actual company can do anything. by milliemoomoo20 (Thu 16th Jul 2020 10:02pm)
  • Thanks, will look him up. by milliemoomoo20 (Thu 16th Jul 2020 11:18pm)
  • Another vote for The Forum in Kilmarnock. I’m a life long Luca’s of Musselburgh far, but The Forum is definitely worth the trip to Kilmarnock. The range of flavour are amazing , and the vanilla is incredible. by milliemoomoo20 (Sat 22nd Aug 2020 8:23pm)
  • Robert Young Roofer. 07810 117376 I’m in Scotstoun, got his number from a neighbour, have used him for the last few years. See him about Scotstoun all the time , I think his name gets passed around ! His guys fixed a leak in my roof 2 weeks ago that we thought was going to be a massive job, it wasn’t and cost £36. Good luck with the leak. by milliemoomoo20 (Wed 9th Sep 2020 10:46pm)
  • Loved going in for a post shopping cocktail. Always good to people watch the well dressed, ‘older’ generation . They did a great old fashioned. by milliemoomoo20 (Fri 11th Sep 2020 10:42pm)
  • Chrystals shortbread is absolutely amazing, bit more expensive, but worth very penny. by milliemoomoo20 (Thu 15th Oct 2020 11:03am)
  • He did! My dad used to run it, we had to sit on the Broomilaw for hours to wait for him to pass and he barely even acknowledged us. . Jimmy Saville would then come past and whooped, ran backwards and gave us big thumbs up. Made our day I’m afraid to say. by milliemoomoo20 (Tue 26th Jan 2021 10:46pm)
  • Thanks, will try them. by milliemoomoo20 (Sun 31st Jan 2021 9:29pm)
  • I got a couple of litter pickers from Home Bargains last summer. They are ok for £1.25, can certainly lift a beer bottle or pull a half buried bag out from the ground. I was part of a big litter pick with neighbours 2 years ago. A neighbour contacted the council about it, they provided litter pickers, bags, plastic gloves and I think we had directions were we to find any sharps etc. They also collect the bags. The littler we collected was from areas where there are bins. Everyone has a pocket. It’s not the just the councils fault , the bins should be emptied more regularly but half the people round here are lazy as fuck and drop stuff all over the place, including right next to a bin. by milliemoomoo20 (Fri 26th Feb 2021 8:46pm)
  • Have used this guy a few times and he was recommended to me if you still need a tiler. Dougie. 0141 558 3066 by milliemoomoo20 (Sat 27th Feb 2021 1:24pm)

  • Fucking brilliant! She would have loved to hear that! by milliemoomoo20 (Thu 18th Mar 2021 6:48pm)
  • Great, now all we need is the good weather to stay. Thanks all. by milliemoomoo20 (Fri 19th Mar 2021 7:30am)
  • I remember.. how on earth was that tolerated in that area?! It was a “sauna” . by milliemoomoo20 (Tue 23rd Mar 2021 8:59pm)
  • I lived nearby, on opening weekend you got a party bag with every purchase with cake and some other crap in it. Us kids worked out the cheapest thing was a wee ruler and repeatedly bought them for the bag. There was also a covered skip out the back which had broken toys in it, we used to lower the lightest child in to it to grab what they could. Happy days. by milliemoomoo20 (Tue 23rd Mar 2021 8:56pm)
