  • Could it be somewhere along prw between ibrox and town? High flats in the (distant) left corner look like the moss heights to me but I could definitely be mistaken. Get mad bus route vibes from it tho by milliesmummy22 (Thu 7th May 2020 10:33am)
  • I think this is it, definitely ties in with the exact route I was thinking of and after checking street view I'm 90% sure that (if not now then at least back then) you would've had a clear view of moss heights over the pr tenements. Thank you for posting the answer, was doing my fucking box in! Was about to spend my one a day walk on the pr 😅 by milliesmummy22 (Thu 7th May 2020 11:38am)
  • Think they're the Moss Heights in Cardonald but someone on Twitter already solved it without my little jigsaw piece ;) by milliesmummy22 (Thu 7th May 2020 11:40am)
  • Aye, you're quite right- I stand corrected! I was looking the complete wrong way on the map there. Honestly surprised I know which way to get out of bed😅! There's a block in broomhill that are very similar, no idea if they'd be visible even without the SECC in the way and frankly I'm too embarrassed to open a map and check ;) by milliesmummy22 (Thu 7th May 2020 12:40pm)
  • Well done, sir/ess! I'd say you're correct but its clear that I don't actually have the intellectual capacity to confirm anything here ((: Today I learned that there is more to reading maps than just getting directions from Google. Maybe those OS folk who went around talking to primary kids about their maps until the early 00's were on to something smart! Whoda thunk it ;) by milliesmummy22 (Thu 7th May 2020 2:48pm)
  • Fucking knew someone on reddit would be able to put this into perspective. Thank you so much for this description, am buklt by milliesmummy22 (Tue 19th May 2020 2:34pm)
  • New phone, I'm a lazy cunt. Tyvm for the advice :) by milliesmummy22 (Tue 19th May 2020 2:42pm)
  • Not a dentist, just a twat with gid teeth and shit bones so was undergoing a lot of private and NHS dental investigations prior to COVID. My appt for a reevaluation of my other wisdom teeth (got one out after a fuck tonne of back and forth) was for week of lockdown and was cancelled. I managed to get a really lovely maxfac consult otp who was the one who told me about only taking lifethreatening infections that would otherwise require hospitalisation through a&e to keep demand on NHS low (think people who dont have access to dental care or the education on how to use a toothbrush) I did have my lower right finally removed last September. I was lucky in that it was my first appointment at the dental hospital but I had issues for at least a year before I had been going to my own dentist with pain etc but she told me because my oral hygiene was unremarkable to give it a few more months each time bc as others have said, they really prefer to leave them now unless there are repeated infections of yer flap. After a year or so i finally managed to get a referral to sauchiehall st, another six months on a waiting list, then about 8 weeks notice for the appt. The specialist I finally seen at sauchiehall st were fab, referred to surgery and taken out the same day. The surgeon had a couple students in but I was cooperative, let him take his time and didn't want any sedative or GA so maybe that had something to do with it? If you think there's an infection, call your dentist. If they won't see you in person, they will likely still offer a teleconsult and if needed then prescribe antibiotics, painkillers and (most importantly) it will be in your records and get the ball rolling in case you do need it taken out further down the line. Good luck bud, hope your tooth doesn't take the piss and you manage to get it sorted with a pill or two. Hope this ramble helps a bit, fwiw I wish I had put a bit more faith in their process before setting my heart on cutting out my skeleton tbh ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯ by milliesmummy22 (Wed 20th May 2020 1:52pm)
  • She used to kick about near the cat n dog home on her way to and from the pr too. Was always along our street in her big navy coat, swearing at bushes, and muttering all sorts of drivel about some imaginary bastard she didn't seem too fond of. Had a pal who claimed to chat with her sometimes on his way home from school who said her name was Audrey and she had a home and a husband. That cunt spoke a lot of shite so I have no idea what her real name or story is but im so glad other people know about Oddball Audrey and her vivid hatred towards gardens. by milliesmummy22 (Fri 22nd May 2020 1:59pm)
  • So much yes. Grew up here, I moved out, parents moved away too. After almost five years away I moved back into a rented 4 in a block on my old street and got attacked on my doorstep by some scheme cretin with a right jezza k family before I paid my 2nd months rent. Lived in govan for four years with no issue, but had to flee a cul de sac. There were a handful of neighbours I knew from before and they were itching to up stakes as far as I could tell and im sure another absolute delight will move in afterwards. by milliesmummy22 (Thu 3rd Sep 2020 11:44am)
  • Most folk who steal a bike dont keep it, they sell it. The hope is that the new bike owners might take their bike to register and find out its already been registered and was stolen. Easy catch if the crim' was dim and sold it online instead of going door to door. by milliesmummy22 (Tue 15th Sep 2020 11:58am)
  • Maybe the west end or nearer town but from what you described, have you considered having a look at Edinburgh? by milliesmummy22 (Mon 12th Oct 2020 7:31pm)
  • Likely shooting them at eachother tbh, dafties everywhere. by milliesmummy22 (Wed 4th Nov 2020 11:06pm)
  • I like to believe the old saying *Robins appear when lost loved ones are near*. I guess I bring this up because I'm wondering who you pissed off so badly they died and came back as a red-tittied birb that loved you enough to stay for lunch? by milliesmummy22 (Thu 4th Feb 2021 2:41pm)
  • Aren't you just wholesome as fuck? Glad I gave you a giggle, tyvm for the shiny. Hope you survive winter without scrapping with Robins, unlike an alarming number of people in this thread. by milliesmummy22 (Thu 4th Feb 2021 7:31pm)
