  • I’m viewing an upper and a lower this week on Loretto / liberton street. Is it as loud as any other block of flats or totally worse? by mollyagogo (Wed 24th Feb 2021 10:24pm)
  • Thanks! I live in a semi new build block of flats at the moment and i can hear everything my neighbour does so It doesn’t really phase me. I have a mortgage tied down - and the adviser knows I’m going to view a cottage flat so there’s no issue there - interesting that mortgages are tricky to obtain for cottage flats. Would you say carntyne is safe enough for a single female living alone? by mollyagogo (Thu 25th Feb 2021 7:00am)

  • When I viewed it must have been scrubbed within an inch of its life, and then within those 6 months they’ve not so much picked up a duster, and just went on a sabotage. Starting to get the feel for it now - hopefully a few weeks it will take shape. Thanks so much! by mollyagogo (Thu 6th May 2021 7:09am)
  • Holy shit - I’m hoping for your brothers peace of mind he never finds out! by mollyagogo (Thu 6th May 2021 7:11am)
  • I moved into a flat in whiteinch five days ago! Things I wish I asked were more questions about the factor, internet and phone signal quality (I’m with three and barely get any signal in the flat) and I’d maybe go for the second viewing at 6pm-ish when the upstairs neighbours are home from work to see how noisy they are. Whiteinch is ace though! Perfect sweet spot by mollyagogo (Tue 11th May 2021 2:32pm)
  • It’s absolutely fine. Moved in a year ago - single female and feel completely safe. If you’ve got your wits about and are street smart I.e respectful and don’t start with anyone you’re golden. by mollyagogo (Mon 30th May 2022 10:15pm)
  • Whiteinch forverrrr by mollyagogo (Fri 1st Jul 2022 5:41pm)

  • The Lismore in Partick is hiring by mollyagogo (Wed 19th Apr 2023 8:59pm)
  • One went through Whiteinch this morning with a small child dressed as the queen and loads of other wains and adults carryin her robe behind her. They’re tapped, have trained the dog to go mental when he hears the flutes approaching by mollyagogo (Sat 17th Jun 2023 11:42pm)
  • Don’t think you read that properly, walked twice a day before and after work. You expecting a dug to go 8 hours to wait for us to finish work or let him out for a pee against the wall at lunch? by mollyagogo (Fri 7th Jul 2023 10:29pm)
  • So we have blocked off all access points points and it’s stopped them getting in the flat but they are back the past few days and the noise of them in the floor boards / walls is too much. Slept for one hour last night over it. The dog is tormented. We footed the £150 bill last time and informed factor to let the rest of the building know to close up entry points etc. can we push for factor to get pest control out and split cost? by mollyagogo (Mon 10th Jul 2023 6:33am)
  • Tennents tour at Wellpark by mollyagogo (Sun 16th Jul 2023 12:33pm)
  • Very safe. I live here now and have done for two years - as a female I feel perfectly safe walking my dog at night. The local pub is full of sound folk and it feels like a little village but you’re only a twenty minute walk to Partick. by mollyagogo (Mon 17th Jul 2023 8:41pm)
  • Whiteinch is class and house/flat prices around here are ridiculous so it must be on the rise. 3 new cafes opened up in the past three months. You’ve got the 1 that goes down the expressway and gets you to central in 10 mins. Big advocate for Whiteinch but will be priced oot when I’m looking for a house by mollyagogo (Mon 17th Jul 2023 8:46pm)
  • Anyone got any scope on Low Waters in Hamilton specifically Burnblea road? Looking at a house there for raising a family. Live in the west end but can’t afford house prices here. Work out Hamilton way. by mollyagogo (Wed 19th Jul 2023 10:54pm)
  • Class thanks so much. Googled hillside crescent a few streets behind and went to news and it gave me the fear by mollyagogo (Thu 20th Jul 2023 3:33pm)
  • So is burnblea actually in Fairhill? Canna figure it out off the map by mollyagogo (Thu 20th Jul 2023 4:12pm)
  • Complain to factor and they’ll send them a letter. We’ve got a lassie in the building that complains to the factor if you get your shopping delivered at 9pm as it’s too noisy by mollyagogo (Mon 24th Jul 2023 12:28am)
