  • I am so happy that my favourite is not on this page. Little treasure of a restaurant, family run and fairly quiet. Just the way I like it. by mrlithic (Mon 28th Jan 2019 2:07pm)
  • You could stay for short period for free - I think roughly 20 minutes - so we would not get a ticket till we saw the warden starting to approach the parking lot. by mrlithic (Fri 6th Mar 2020 6:56am)
  • Bon Accord is also boarded up - not gone just resting by mrlithic (Sun 29th Mar 2020 5:59pm)
  • Definitely up for this - spend about 25% of my time working in the Netherlands - currently using books and tapes. by mrlithic (Wed 15th Apr 2020 4:24pm)

  • When I fly in first it is Yoker then Renfrew - Knightswood is near but you are not like the poor bastards I fly over when we get to Heathrow - I feel sorry for those folks. You are more side-on than underneath. If you really want to find out - park the car in the neighbourhood sit outside and check it for yourself. If the winds are right - you have a couple flights every 15 minutes. by mrlithic (Sun 21st Feb 2021 6:50pm)
  • They already got rid of the curling rinks at Braehead. There is a group trying to get a Ice Sports centre in Glasgow. The curling lot have been the main drivers behind this. https://glasgowicecentre.co.uk/ by mrlithic (Wed 5th May 2021 6:18pm)

  • I was just about to write the exact same thing. Seriously miss Borders. Waterstones is not the same. by mrlithic (Thu 30th Jun 2022 3:49pm)
  • Two spottings of this trend Several of the guys that hung around St Enoch Car Park begging would always have a bag of cans near them. A lady in front of me at the checkout of Go Outdoors with 20 Butane Gas canisters and no stove. Both of those were a a while back though by mrlithic (Wed 27th Jul 2022 7:24am)

  • There was company fight and the original management lost. They only recently regained control of the name and the building. When we were in there they were slowly getting their suppliers back on board. It just seems like it was taking to long for them to get back their suppliers and customers. by mrlithic (Mon 5th Sep 2022 7:13am)
  • Bon Accord - it is not the pints or the whisky - it is the people. Paul and his staff are brilliant. The food is consistent and the ambiance is great. Best place to go when you want visitors to experience a classic Scottish Pub. by mrlithic (Fri 16th Sep 2022 1:22pm)
  • I would check out Beirut Star. Lovely staff and brilliant Lebanese food. by mrlithic (Mon 12th Dec 2022 6:27pm)
