The flat is not new. And I dont have unreasonable expectations of stopping the traffic or fit stabilisers to the flat.... I would expect an investigation in the stability of the building and maybe put some speed bumps on the road.

Normal for Glasgow maybe but its definitely not normal for the whole building to shake when a car passes

For people think that's normal, its absolutely not (maybe normal for Glasgow but it's still not ok). I lived in busier roads in 10 different cities all around the globe and this is the first time I experience something like that (and the same thing goes for the people I know and asked before raising this thread)

haha right? The only thing that I read is that its normal (its not) and that I will get used to it (I wont).

potholes are great for making a car to slow down

anything that will help reduce the cars from the roads

I feel the opposite. I like potholes because they make the cars go slower, and the street safer for pedestrians and cyclists.

the nanny state (that comes in a can) is really good (and the company's history really sketchy)

if there were no crops where he was spraying, its probably glyphosate to get rid of the weeds (which is linked to cancer). I was outside of the Kelvingrove museum the other day and a guy (I suspect from council) was doing the same to get rid of the weeds next to the pavement.
