  • I’ve done the sleeper quite a few times but only once with seats and never again. I’d rather get an earlier train than try and sleep on the seats. Best to get the first train north from London (about 5.30am) or just fly up. by mwhitesidecomp (Tue 9th Jul 2019 6:44pm)
  • He is great! If they record the voiceover for the stops I want him to do it. by mwhitesidecomp (Tue 3rd Sep 2019 10:25am)
  • If they ever record the voices for all the stop, I want him to do it. Always a smile when I hear him by mwhitesidecomp (Tue 3rd Sep 2019 12:21pm)
  • Hopefully see you there tomorrow night? :) Its part of a concert series I run putting classical music (mainly contemporary classical) into more informal venues. Theres 2 more this year after Garth this week. by mwhitesidecomp (Mon 7th Oct 2019 10:38am)

  • Drive to the Benmore Botanic Park. If the weather is nice get out for a walk if not it’s still a nice drive along Loch Lomond. Can get the ferry back from Dunoon as well by mwhitesidecomp (Wed 8th Jan 2020 3:05pm)
  • Add a woocommerce (or similar) section to your website with what people can order. They can pay on the website and add a note what table they are at. by mwhitesidecomp (Sat 30th May 2020 1:18pm)
  • Perfect thanks! Couldn’t find that when I was googling. Thanks a lot by mwhitesidecomp (Thu 2nd Jul 2020 1:47pm)
  • Aquatron run PADI dive courses but my understanding is that nothing is happening at all at the moment. I’m a member of a Scotsac diving club in Glasgow and we aren’t doing any training. We aren’t sure when it might be possible to again based on social distancing guidelines. Our training pool isn’t open at the moment either. I’d say don’t get your hopes up to do it before Sept and if you manage to get away to just pay for it and do it in the warmer water. I did my initial Scotsac qualification in my diving club then did the PADI advanced in Australia before crossing over to Scotsac Sport diver. If you do your qualification with PADI in scotland (so in a dry suit) and then want to join a Scottish club when you get back there’s a small amount of cross over training you’ll need to do. If you do PADI while your away and want to join a Scotsac club or dive in Scotland with PADI you’ll have to do some dry suit training. Basically all the qualifications are broadly comparable PADI/Scotsac/bsac but there are some differences and that’s what the crossover training is so cover. by mwhitesidecomp (Sat 6th Feb 2021 6:23pm)
  • Ahhh didn’t realise that. Sorry OP for the wrong info on Aquatron! I’d been in and chatted to the staff at Aquatron and they were saying about being out with trainees so just assumed. Now that I’m thinking about it that was probably 2 years ago. The last year has been a weird one with time! by mwhitesidecomp (Sat 6th Feb 2021 10:32pm)
  • Can completely understand that. Would definitely suggest doing a try dive before spending the cash to train properly. But doing a try dive at the moment isn’t the easiest of things.... by mwhitesidecomp (Mon 8th Feb 2021 9:56pm)
