  • Exactly! You can buy organic flour at Tesco, at a fraction of the cost of a baked loaf! If you use a started, your only other ingredients will be water and salt! by nalgene_god (Mon 3rd Jan 2022 7:56pm)
  • When I moved to Glasgow a bit over a year ago buying a bike was one of the first purchases I made. I promptly popped my tires 2 or 3 times in a period of 3 weeks due to broken glass being *everywhere* , haven't ridden it since last spring. by nalgene_god (Tue 22nd Feb 2022 5:06pm)

  • My partner and I are around 30£/week. We eat a lot of beans/legumes, and buy our chickens whole to break down at home to save money. We also bake our own bread and save some money there. Whatever items you have time to make yourself, you can generally save some money by doing! by nalgene_god (Mon 12th Dec 2022 8:00am)
  • I just spent 2+ years living in Glasgow, and honestly it was my toughest years as an adult. Closest I've been to full blown depression. I met some great people, and got to enjoy a lot of what Scotland had to offer, however I found Glasgow incredibly hard to thrive in. I have an immense respect for the people who make Glasgow home. by nalgene_god (Sun 23rd Apr 2023 6:25pm)
  • Different things are going to work for different people! I'm happy that you're enjoying yourself though, that's really great to hear. I'm back in Canada and doing a lot better. by nalgene_god (Sun 23rd Apr 2023 6:39pm)
