  • I’m just thinking of a place so similar and it had a fake train tracks inside with needles?? by rachurrito (Sun 8th Dec 2019 9:23pm)
  • Thanks! We’ve never had a problem before but just obviously with what’s going on has delayed everything. I’ve put a sign on my door to give our neighbours a heads up and I’ll phone the council tomorrow for advice by rachurrito (Mon 20th Apr 2020 8:07pm)
  • Tell me about it. They stopped collecting about two weeks before they announced they’re stopping collections for the foreseeable future. No updates at all. by rachurrito (Mon 20th Apr 2020 11:40pm)
  • I know the lockdown has caused a lot of things to be put off but even if they empty the food waste bin along with the general which they aren’t doing. I’ve reported it to the council online. I’m not going to attempt to sort the rats out myself as they’ll keep coming back. Just thought the council would realise that flats have a bin for food waste and didn’t even bother collecting them before lockdown. Hate Glasgow City Council. by rachurrito (Tue 21st Apr 2020 2:02pm)
  • Hope you were alright! They need more speed cameras in Glasgow. Always thought it. by rachurrito (Fri 24th Apr 2020 10:21pm)
  • That’s what I hear as well! There’s speed cameras by Blairdardie flats but once they pass that to go to Dumbarton, there’s none. It’s ridiculous considering the amount of crashes and people who’ve been hit by the boulie roundabout by rachurrito (Sat 25th Apr 2020 10:17am)
  • I live on it by Blairdardie way. It’s not fun by rachurrito (Sat 25th Apr 2020 4:39pm)
  • Are they only noisy when they’re out or can you hear them when they’re inside the house too? by rachurrito (Sat 2nd May 2020 9:05am)
  • Started off not bad with good music but drunks and drugged up idiots took over a few hours later. Swiftly got out of there! by rachurrito (Thu 7th May 2020 7:34pm)
  • Ah cool! by rachurrito (Fri 15th May 2020 12:38pm)
  • 😂 by rachurrito (Fri 15th May 2020 12:38pm)
  • People round my hit were breaching it when it was full lockdown, now it’s slightly eased, more house parties in my flat building. Strangers running up and down the stairs, leaving a mess in the hall. Whole thing is a joke now by rachurrito (Sun 31st May 2020 10:55am)
  • Exactly. The whole track and trace is a disaster too. Telling us constant to keep our distance from people but they’ll contact people who you’ve been in contact with if you get the virus. More likely to pick it up from a stranger standing too close to you in the shop by rachurrito (Sun 31st May 2020 11:26am)
  • I agree. Considering we still can’t even hug our loved ones, a mass protest isn’t the most wise move right now. I understand and support BLM but a mass gathering is extremely unsafe just now by rachurrito (Mon 1st Jun 2020 10:26pm)
  • Are you for real? by rachurrito (Tue 2nd Jun 2020 4:46pm)
  • If you go into braehead, there’s a queue that takes you through the clothes section by rachurrito (Mon 15th Jun 2020 7:21pm)
  • I don’t think you’re allowed to try them on but I passed the entrance when I was at Holland an Barrett the other day and people were walking past the clothes by rachurrito (Tue 16th Jun 2020 9:36am)
  • You can try Blairdardie/anniesland/knightswood in the west. Nice wee semi detached houses there, close to city/ west end with good transport links. by rachurrito (Sat 4th Jul 2020 9:23pm)
  • Yeah true. The Bungalows are nice further down great western road but the further up you go, it’s more dense. There’s some lovely houses near canniesburn road by rachurrito (Sat 4th Jul 2020 10:06pm)
  • Anything part of the drum before the flyover at Sainsbury’s can be bad. Over the flyover at great western road heading in to town is nice by rachurrito (Sun 5th Jul 2020 11:30am)
  • Was in Sainsbury’s braehead and only saw a few people without them but I’m seeing people who aren’t wearing them right. They have it below their noses, taking it off to make a phone call or take them off to speak to other people. by rachurrito (Fri 10th Jul 2020 7:53pm)
  • Do you know any specific streets? by rachurrito (Wed 29th Jul 2020 10:48am)
  • Mainly ballater street area. Sorry, I thought that road and citizens theatre are close! If I can park on ballater street that would be even better! by rachurrito (Wed 29th Jul 2020 12:24pm)
  • Ooo I’ll have to look that up! by rachurrito (Wed 29th Jul 2020 1:22pm)
  • I think you get that all over. I don’t know if it’s people being locked up for several months which is making them worse but no matter where you go, you get idiots shouting at you or just being horrible. by rachurrito (Thu 30th Jul 2020 10:05pm)
  • Thanks! I’ll try that 😄 by rachurrito (Thu 6th Aug 2020 2:54pm)
  • Thanks all! Got a good idea now so will fill it all in by rachurrito (Thu 6th Aug 2020 3:37pm)
  • Yeah it is ☺️ by rachurrito (Thu 6th Aug 2020 7:37pm)
  • I’ve honestly laughed for a good 5 mins at your comment. Need that! by rachurrito (Thu 27th Aug 2020 8:44pm)
  • I know it’s not directly related but I went to Lomond Shores on Sunday and around 90% people weren’t wearing masks or social distancing, including food vendors. I left pretty quickly after seeing it. It was pretty shocking to see. I kept thinking what happens if there’s an outbreak there and it’s near impossible to trace but if I have one person in my house and not much contact with anyone else, that isn’t allowed for the next week or two? by rachurrito (Tue 1st Sep 2020 7:36pm)
  • Everyone was packed like sardines. Some vendors were handling cash then preparing food. Whole thing was like pre covid by rachurrito (Tue 1st Sep 2020 8:13pm)
  • The media really need to mention this because people think you can’t see your extended household but on the government guidance, they said it’s fine by rachurrito (Wed 2nd Sep 2020 4:18pm)
  • Yeah I was thinking of my Arnold Clark where I get my service but will probably avoid by rachurrito (Tue 8th Sep 2020 10:53pm)
  • That would be ideal for me! by rachurrito (Wed 9th Sep 2020 8:01am)
  • Yeah I done the same! But they said I could just drive in so they can see what the problem is. by rachurrito (Wed 9th Sep 2020 6:45pm)
  • Wasn’t it really sickly?! by rachurrito (Fri 11th Sep 2020 10:43am)
  • Oh that would be better! by rachurrito (Fri 11th Sep 2020 11:22am)
  • I can’t eat both because of the wrapper. Hate the feel of the paper wrapper, like nails on a chalkboard by rachurrito (Sun 13th Sep 2020 7:18pm)
  • It’s when the exhaust pops and the tyres are screeching up the road that make me roll my eyes. I live on GWR and I witness it all the time. They look like fools. Maybe they’re just stuck in their fast and furious: Tokyo drift days and refuse to move on from it by rachurrito (Sun 13th Sep 2020 7:27pm)
  • Oh I thought it was both! Still the paper wrapper gives me the fear by rachurrito (Sun 13th Sep 2020 8:46pm)
  • I kept refreshing the page because I noticed they have 50 appointments for each venue. I finally found one near after about 20 mins refreshing for a local one. Booked the test next day, had it at 11am, results came in 9pm that evening by rachurrito (Mon 14th Sep 2020 10:50pm)
  • Where did you take that picture? Lovely view! by rachurrito (Thu 24th Sep 2020 6:57pm)
  • I’ve heard about that place. So many mixes places I’m discovering in the south side by rachurrito (Thu 24th Sep 2020 10:43pm)
  • I know when it comes to someone travelling in from an EU country which requires self isolation but just in general, aren’t couples who don’t live together (if one is in a single household) or support bubbles excluded from that? by rachurrito (Tue 29th Sep 2020 1:25pm)
  • I might not be possible if they have to self isolate by law for 14 days. They’ve increased the fines a lot. It is more tricky when someone is coming into the country. My support bubble in 4 hours away because I don’t have anyone living near by but support bubbles are allowed. by rachurrito (Tue 29th Sep 2020 1:33pm)
  • Yeah that applies to me. Unfortunately mines is 4 hours away but it’s something. I feel for people in LDR that are in different countries by rachurrito (Tue 29th Sep 2020 1:37pm)
  • All 5 countries in Britain? What’s the fifth? by rachurrito (Wed 7th Oct 2020 6:59pm)
  • Maybe just accept defeat for this weekend and have a nice cold beer by rachurrito (Fri 9th Oct 2020 4:36pm)
  • Aw naw by rachurrito (Fri 9th Oct 2020 4:35pm)
  • You won’t be able to try on anything in the shops atm by rachurrito (Sun 11th Oct 2020 10:41am)
  • It does look lovely. It’s just I’ve seen a few flats up for rent between 550-650 for a two bed in west end. I was wondering why it was as rent is ridiculous these days by rachurrito (Mon 12th Oct 2020 6:42pm)
  • Exactly. I’m from and live in Glasgow and would prefer to live in the west. Only thing is that some places are so expensive so saving for a mortgage is going to be a long time. I’ve heard a lot about the south being good but I can’t help loving the west! by rachurrito (Mon 12th Oct 2020 6:47pm)
  • Thank you! All I want is a roof over my head, feel safe in the area, quiet area and quiet flat ☺️ by rachurrito (Mon 12th Oct 2020 7:55pm)
  • Yeah I’ve seen temple/anniesland and even the back end of Knightswood. All look decent and enough to save for a deposit for March time! by rachurrito (Mon 12th Oct 2020 8:24pm)
  • Probably 😂 by rachurrito (Mon 12th Oct 2020 9:38pm)
  • It looks perfect to rent. Next time I find a place, I want a quiet street. I live on GWR and there’s no peace by rachurrito (Tue 13th Oct 2020 8:09am)
  • Someone has commented saying they’ve reported them to police! by rachurrito (Fri 30th Oct 2020 9:39pm)
  • I saw one min and now it’s gone! Police Scotland have now been tagged on their insta. This has defo been reported and hopefully they all get slapped with a big fat fine while we all still stay indoors not seeing our family by rachurrito (Fri 30th Oct 2020 9:44pm)
  • Even worse, when they’re cutting the grass outside your flat at 9am! by rachurrito (Sun 15th Nov 2020 7:50pm)
  • I think it’s a one standard price for it tbh by rachurrito (Thu 19th Nov 2020 10:57pm)
  • I noticed it too! Starting to go insane being stuck in my flat with constant traffic all the time by rachurrito (Sat 21st Nov 2020 4:32pm)
  • I’m with garscadden burn practice within Drumchapel health centre. Staff are sound by rachurrito (Tue 24th Nov 2020 7:57pm)
  • Do it. If you’re unsafe, you can leave. Regardless of that, someone mentioned here you can form an extended household with your partner if you don’t live with them. I have and my partner is in England as she lives alone. by rachurrito (Fri 27th Nov 2020 9:48pm)
  • Tenements seems to be better. I live in a new build, ceilings are low and my whole flat shakes when my neighbours upstairs are walking about. Even as far that I had stuff fall off my table because my upstair neighbour thought it would be good to do a workout video. It’s a nightmare by rachurrito (Fri 4th Dec 2020 9:49am)
  • I couldn’t agree more. by rachurrito (Tue 8th Dec 2020 6:18pm)
  • Downstairs neighbour put their washing machine on at 1am/2am this morning. Asked them last week about it and denied it’s them. They said it could be my upstairs neighbour. Are they for real? I now where the sound is coming from and it’s coming from you hermits downstairs who never leave their flat by rachurrito (Wed 9th Dec 2020 7:57am)
  • I mean for walks. General fresh air by rachurrito (Wed 9th Dec 2020 9:10am)
  • Very much so. Walks and fresh air does wonders by rachurrito (Wed 9th Dec 2020 1:39pm)
  • Very. I think they’ve turned nocturnal because there’s a lot of banging drawers and doors at night. I’ve been woken up with my room shaking many times by rachurrito (Wed 9th Dec 2020 1:38pm)
  • I laughed so hard at this comment! by rachurrito (Fri 11th Dec 2020 10:00pm)
  • Does the extended household/ bubble include Scotland / England bubble? Would that fall under essential travel? by rachurrito (Sat 19th Dec 2020 7:43pm)
  • Sorry if I’m not grasping this right so the travel between Scotland / England is the same if it’s tier 4 if I’m reading correctly? So my support bubble/extended household who lives alone is near the border of England. It falls under the original guidelines. I can’t find it in this new festive period guideline? by rachurrito (Sat 19th Dec 2020 9:47pm)
  • Of course, they’re an essential service. Don’t worry about it by rachurrito (Sat 19th Dec 2020 10:43pm)
  • I don’t even know why you’re getting downvotes because I think you’re spot on by rachurrito (Sat 19th Dec 2020 10:48pm)
  • Some people don’t have grandparents or parents. Just want to stay with a family member for a few days. The blanket ban is ridiculous by rachurrito (Sat 19th Dec 2020 11:06pm)
  • Thanks, I checked the existing guidelines on Scottish government and they said you can’t leave a tier 4, or Scotland for the following reasons, one of those reasons was extended household/bubble but I might just have to wait a few days to see what the full list of exemptions are. I know they’ll probably not include that but I’m trying to find some hope after the shit show that the government has made in the last few weeks by rachurrito (Sun 20th Dec 2020 12:09am)
  • Same. Been staring at my computer screen for the past few hours trying to find the last piece of motivation within to get my work done by rachurrito (Mon 21st Dec 2020 1:38pm)
  • I remember years ago when the aqua disco was on one Friday night and some girl slipped when walking into the pool and I think she broke her leg. All had to leave and got in free the next week. That image is stuck in my head for life. Other note the black flume and wave machine was brill by rachurrito (Tue 22nd Dec 2020 2:59pm)
  • Only for essential reasons. Like work, extended household blah de blah by rachurrito (Mon 4th Jan 2021 6:27pm)
  • That made my day that video! by rachurrito (Tue 12th Jan 2021 10:11am)
  • Depends on the time. BTP were asking folk boarding the Avanti London train a couple of weeks ago. Plus I had my ticket checked coming home but not asked a reason. Also depends what station you’re going to in England as well. Some may have police some might not. by rachurrito (Fri 15th Jan 2021 8:41am)
  • I’ll give that a go thanks! by rachurrito (Sat 16th Jan 2021 5:40pm)
  • I know they’re an awful council. Took them around 2 months to sort the rat problem in our communal bin shed last year. I just don’t like the thought of a wee fox by the road. I always report them but somehow, they’ve changed the steps to report an animal uplift. Their website is awful by rachurrito (Sat 16th Jan 2021 5:48pm)
  • Got the app but no there’s no part to report dead animal :/ by rachurrito (Sat 16th Jan 2021 5:45pm)
  • Jeez that’s bad. I honestly don’t get this council. They’re terrible by rachurrito (Sat 16th Jan 2021 6:43pm)
  • I might try that thanks ☺️ by rachurrito (Sat 16th Jan 2021 6:42pm)
  • I see, horrible that it’s under rubbish. Poor wee animal by rachurrito (Sat 16th Jan 2021 6:57pm)
  • No idea! I’ve managed to report it now with the app. Feel better now! by rachurrito (Sat 16th Jan 2021 8:10pm)
  • I don’t have Twitter but I found the app helpful! by rachurrito (Sun 17th Jan 2021 4:34pm)
  • There’s a crater of a pothole on GWR in old drumchapel. Car almost fell in it the other day by rachurrito (Tue 26th Jan 2021 9:15am)
  • I’m getting so sick of the litter in Glasgow. Feel like I’m walking through a rubbish tip half the time by rachurrito (Sat 30th Jan 2021 2:31pm)
  • Exactly, more people are in and they’re switching to that. We already have a bad rat problem due to bibs not getting lifted. New some new decent folk elected into this council because it’s shite by rachurrito (Sun 31st Jan 2021 10:19am)
  • It’s a shot in the dark but if she took in a parcel that was addressed to you and is denying it, I’m sure it’s theft. You could get some advice from police if getting no luck from courier? by rachurrito (Wed 3rd Feb 2021 11:17am)
  • You have right to be pissed off at the situation, I would be. Hope all works out for you! by rachurrito (Wed 3rd Feb 2021 12:53pm)
  • I think the council has took them down but the candles are still there by rachurrito (Thu 4th Feb 2021 1:38pm)
  • I only know Kay’s garage in anniesland. They’re brilliant in there and charge decent. Might be a trek for you though by rachurrito (Thu 4th Feb 2021 1:35pm)
  • It was a mother, her daughter and a man who killed himself after. Murder suicides are horrible by rachurrito (Fri 5th Feb 2021 12:42pm)
  • Yeah usually those things are domestic. Very sad on those women. by rachurrito (Fri 5th Feb 2021 1:42pm)
  • It’s a disgrace. It’s been getting worse. Sick of walking around in a rubbish tip by rachurrito (Wed 10th Feb 2021 11:24am)
  • They’re joking by rachurrito (Wed 10th Feb 2021 12:19pm)
  • Wonder if I’ll deck it on the ice this morning walking into the office. Already mentally preparing myself for it. by rachurrito (Thu 11th Feb 2021 7:26am)
  • I’ll do the penguin technique by rachurrito (Thu 11th Feb 2021 8:21am)
  • My money is on the council. Think they’ve uprooted and pissed off somewhere by rachurrito (Mon 15th Feb 2021 11:34pm)
  • I think that’s what is getting to a lot of people. The council say the can’t have normal services but we’re still paying the same amount of council tax. It’s a joke. by rachurrito (Tue 16th Feb 2021 8:20am)
  • App doesn’t work. Been trying to report a couple of things and either I’ve been ignored or the app crashes. by rachurrito (Tue 16th Feb 2021 5:44pm)
  • Tried it and still doesn’t work. Been trying to report an animal uplift. Put in the details a month ago but still there. Tried sorting it on the app and it doesn’t work by rachurrito (Tue 16th Feb 2021 10:53pm)
