Hey everyone. Looking to move out of the parents house and get a flat of my own in and around Glasgow. What kind of prices should I expect for a 1 bed flat? Any particular areas or landlords to avoid? I've been seeing prices for decent place around the £500-700 mark and this seems quite reasonable to me, but just wanted to check. Thanks!

I really cannot stand these student housing buildings, absolutely soulless and slowly but surely ruining the centre of the city

If anyone could actually afford to live in the centre of Glasgow these days then I suspect it would be better

No suggestions unfortunately other than to say it’s a fucking disgrace a carer needs another job to support themselves. I hope you find what you need soon.

I suspect not. I live a good 20 minutes from the city centre and it’s not that desirable an area. I only bought last year and an identical flat next to me sold for £5k more than I paid. So nah anecdotally prices are going nowhere
