  • Hola, Ana Maria. Yo soy gallego.
  • This looks amazing! I just moved to the Southside so i'll be glad to pass by! Anyone interested in some borderlands 2 pc coop game, btw? by romadv (Mon 29th Apr 2019 1:56pm)
  • I still believe that while those kind of things can happen, the rest of the usb chargers were fine. So that means 99% of the users are polite individuals. Glasgow is not that bad. But still sucks cause the bus may go full of people and you can be stuck with that seat, not being able to charge your phone... by romadv (Sat 1st Jun 2019 9:33pm)
  • I know, i was not speaking about the whole city, just about the bus. I use 3 different buses each day and i've been doing this for 3 months, and this was only the second problem i've found, being the previous one a guy that peed on himself while drunk... by romadv (Sun 2nd Jun 2019 1:01pm)
  • Still! And you built a monument to it in town next to the river! I think you can be proud of it! :) by romadv (Tue 14th Apr 2020 6:23pm)
  • Well this city and its inhabitants built a conmemorative monument in the river Clyde because of this, and when i moved here learning that moved me a lot. I just wanted to say thanks to the city i live in for that :) by romadv (Tue 14th Apr 2020 6:21pm)
  • 65 died, but actually hundreds of glaswegians joined the fight! And believe me, you can be proud of your city as well, because it still builds monuments honouring those freedom fighters today! And generally speaking, 14th of April is a day many unions, political parties and organisations still conmemorate here in Glasgow. I'm not attributing nothing to the entire city, i just think those people could have been born in some other place but they did born here and maybe the long story Glasgow has when it comes to the good fight for rights and freedom had something to do with it. I just wanted to say thanks for being such a great place giving birth to those people if you want me to put it that way 😅 by romadv (Tue 14th Apr 2020 7:14pm)
  • I defo am! Thanks a lot :) by romadv (Tue 14th Apr 2020 11:12pm)
  • No, i mean, i do live in Glasgow lol but thanks anyway, i love y'all haha I usually go there every week once at least and been there when they inaugurated the blockade runners memorial just some meters to the west! I love Glasgow, mate. I think there's a good chance i'll spend the rest of my life here! 😚 Most welcoming city i've ever lived in for sure!! by romadv (Tue 14th Apr 2020 11:18pm)
  • Happy birthday! 🥳 by romadv (Thu 16th Apr 2020 11:13am)

  • Council's attitude is really disappointing. I'd write a huge post narrating several issues related to this but i get the feeling no one would fucking care. Really pissed off... by romadv (Mon 20th Apr 2020 11:31pm)
  • And don't forget the tax just got increased by romadv (Mon 20th Apr 2020 11:50pm)
  • It's not just anti-catholic hate, everybody seems to be forgetting that the image depicts a muslim and a lgbt person too. " First they came for the Communists, And I did not speak out Because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the Socialists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists And I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews And I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak out for me. " Just sayin. Allowing these stickers to remain there, taking no action is not OK. Hate is never OK. Edit: Be careful if you ever tear them off as some of them hide razors behind and shit. by romadv (Wed 19th Jan 2022 9:45pm)
  • Thanks for explaining, I'm not into football and I'm not from here so I wasn't aware of that. But using gay/trans as an insult doesn't make it less lgbtphobic. by romadv (Wed 19th Jan 2022 11:22pm)
  • Thanks for explaining, I'm not into football and I wasn't born here so I was unaware. Since you're the 2nd tellijg me this I might actually have to edit my comment lol. Anyway it's still lgbtphobic to use the pride flag as an insult so their hate is not just against catholics. by romadv (Wed 19th Jan 2022 11:43pm)
  • Please complain to the council, they charge us all a lot of money every month for services like this. Ultimately they should scrap council tax but they're too right-wing for that to be considered. by romadv (Wed 9th Feb 2022 6:13am)
  • Tax the rich by romadv (Wed 9th Feb 2022 6:59am)
  • How is getting the rich to pay proportional taxes making them responsible for everything? More control over the rich is precisely the contrary to an oligarchy. Plus no rich ever left a country because they don't want to lose all the business they make. by romadv (Wed 9th Feb 2022 7:23am)
  • I edited before further comments being sent? Plus the edit only expands what I said originally, it doesn't go against it by romadv (Wed 9th Feb 2022 7:31am)
  • OP complained about water not being good which is council's responsibility so I encouraged OP to complain. Actually the council encourages us to do so, but you preferred insulting me instead. I actually vote SNP so I'm more than entitled to criticise them. If you did vote for them you're making them little good by kissing their arse instead of making them do policies that benefit you, like scrapping council tax could be. by romadv (Wed 9th Feb 2022 8:20am)
  • Maybe you're too busy worshipping thatcherist policies to see how saving £90 a month would benefit you but anyway you know fuck all about me to say I'm here to spread hate towards SNP but that didn't stop you calling me idiot. Everybody's entitled to healthy water by law and if you lack that then you should complain to the relevant authority which in this case is the council and it's not me who says so, it's the council. It might not be their fault but as long as they're the ones in charge they're the ones to complain to 1st of all. You an SNP fanboy? Fair enough, I want a strong independent Scotland too but to get that we'll need the SNP to take constructive criticism and what you are doing insulting people on reddit is exactly the opposite. I never insulted the SNP, I just said they're not left wing enough imo and you're just crying publicly. You're a disgrace and a shame to Scotland and the indy movement. by romadv (Wed 9th Feb 2022 9:37am)
  • Why don't you cut it on your own? Takes some time and tries to learn but you'll save money the rest of your life. by romadv (Sat 26th Mar 2022 1:37pm)
  • Not Glasgow but close enough in Edinburgh, RATM will be playing the 24th of August. A weird move by the band, I have to say. Choosing Edinburgh over Glasgow for a gig. I keep repeating it in my mind for it to make sense, but still doesn't. by romadv (Fri 8th Jul 2022 6:17pm)
  • I'm sure of it, you're absolutely right. However, the audience in Glasgow is the best and the gig would be epic if meant to happen here instead! by romadv (Sat 9th Jul 2022 12:04am)
  • Are you looking for a singer? I'm a good one (male 33y), and I play some other instruments too, rythm guitar being the main one. I'm trying to get back to music after a long disconnection from it. Had some relative success within the underground scene with past projects, even winning some awards. Unfortunately, we never managed to break through, never got paid enough for it to be taken seriously as a job, but we had a great time while it lasted. And then I moved to Scotland, and I don't have any friends here interested in making music. And then shit happened, the pandemic, death of some friends and family members, breaking up with a partner, etc. So I haven't played much in the last years or created many new tunes, but I really want the music back in my life. by romadv (Sat 15th Apr 2023 11:14am)
  • Yeah, the focus should be on having a good time so it all sounds good to me. I'd like to play gigs again at some point but just jamming and making contacts while having fun is good enough. I haven't played in a stage in years except for a couple exceptions so I'm defo not ready for such a thing anyway. Whereabouts you gather to jam? by romadv (Sat 15th Apr 2023 11:42am)
