  • Thanks all for your comments. I will be doing a postgraduate come September and will therefore move to the city centre to be close to uni, I see it will be very expensive to have a season ticket so probably the best way to go is sell my car! by rygrech (Sat 30th Mar 2019 9:19pm)
  • First thing that they said when I called, they blamed it on the contractor haha! by rygrech (Fri 17th May 2019 8:19pm)
  • Completely agree with you WG47. I don't mind contractor/landlord/letting agency representatives coming in when I'm not present, I do appreciate that things need to be done/checked etc and I'm not always available and that shouldn't stop things that essentially need to be done. But I do believe that advising the tenant is only courteous, what if I had sensitive information lying around or money etc and this would have gone missing? Who would be responsible for that. by rygrech (Fri 17th May 2019 8:23pm)
  • Thanks for these! All great suggestions. I worded the post wrongly myself, didn't mean like NY high rise building just 4th/5th floor. Cheers, guess it'd be best to speak to an agency haha! by rygrech (Fri 12th Jul 2019 9:21pm)
  • Ye thought as much re council tax. Maybe cause you're paying for the views? by rygrech (Sun 21st Jul 2019 4:44pm)
  • That's good to know. I'm trying to find somewhere more modern (particularly interior wise) will probably need to accept a higher tax. by rygrech (Sun 21st Jul 2019 5:01pm)
  • That's what I was worried about. Went round the area Saturday round noon to do recon before apartment viewing, there were 0 places. I mean if some days you find others you don't it's not bad but parking 10 mins away is annoying especially if the streets are not safe for your car. Thanks for your input, appreciate it! by rygrech (Sun 21st Jul 2019 5:46pm)
  • Thanks for that. I'll make sure to ask about factor fees. Although it really seems like parking will be a huge hassle - it's starting to put me off a bit haha! by rygrech (Sun 21st Jul 2019 10:21pm)
  • Said should be getting Virgin. by rygrech (Fri 30th Aug 2019 8:55pm)

  • Cheers. Were these recent? The reason I'm asking is because from the endless google searches I've made it seems 7/8 years ago that was the constant talk but the reportings of said things have decreased the closer to 2021 you get. by rygrech (Wed 17th Mar 2021 8:59pm)
  • Lived in North Kelvinside 2 roads away from Maryhill road for the best part of these 4 years by rygrech (Wed 17th Mar 2021 9:36pm)
  • Aye, that’s the one I was looking to get. Thanks! by rygrech (Wed 1st Sep 2021 10:26am)
  • I’ll do that as the comparison sites only get me just a couple of providers and as you pointed out anyone on Open Reach should be able to render a service. by rygrech (Wed 1st Sep 2021 11:01am)
  • I am with Virgin at the moment. Unfortunately, the new place has no connectivity. They said they will do a survey of feasibility but that will probably take ages. by rygrech (Wed 1st Sep 2021 6:23pm)
  • Will do so. Thought I’d see other options just in case they say no. by rygrech (Fri 24th Jun 2022 1:41pm)
  • I thought it would only fo so if its due to an accident? by rygrech (Fri 24th Jun 2022 1:40pm)
  • Ye I think mixture of busses and taxis will be the way. Will try go to work slightly earlier to avoid the bus crowding! M by rygrech (Fri 24th Jun 2022 8:22pm)
  • Do you need to park in specific areas or can I pick one up near my home and then leave it next to my work and only charged for the time driving it? by rygrech (Fri 24th Jun 2022 8:39pm)
