  • Awesome, thanks for the advice! by s1h4d0w (Thu 2nd Jan 2020 10:27pm)
  • From what I understand you send in your portfolio and then they invite you for an interview, but she was mainly wondering if you only send it in digitally before the interview. The reason is that there's a section on their website that gives tips and it says "make sure to put your portfolio in a sturdy binder" without specifying when you need to send/bring your physical portfolio, but I'm guessing that's for the interview then. Thanks! by s1h4d0w (Fri 3rd Jan 2020 1:07pm)
  • Thanks, that makes sense! by s1h4d0w (Sun 5th Jan 2020 6:09pm)
  • Oh no it's fine and it's good advice. She was stressing a bit about it so I decided to ask some help here. I'll tell her to call but all the questions she had have been pretty much answered! by s1h4d0w (Sun 5th Jan 2020 6:08pm)
  • Well most of the listings I’ve looked at just have a few pieces of furniture, like a nasty leather casting couch and old crusty closet and bed from the 90’s that nobody in their right mind would want. Don’t understand why they offer it furnished as it just makes the apartment look much worse. by s1h4d0w (Fri 12th Jun 2020 6:35pm)
  • It’s just a bit annoying, sadly right now there’s not much available that’s unfurnished. by s1h4d0w (Fri 12th Jun 2020 6:46pm)
  • Thanks! Think we’ll go visit Lomond, we’ve been to the botanic gardens before but definitely worth another visit (as some friends live nearby). The park is also a good tip, the gf loves her some highland cows. by s1h4d0w (Tue 18th Aug 2020 12:40pm)
  • Been to both a few times with some friends who live in Glasgow, but still a very good suggestion, thank you! by s1h4d0w (Tue 18th Aug 2020 1:29pm)
  • That's a good suggestion, thanks! Hope the gf is up for a hike ;) by s1h4d0w (Tue 18th Aug 2020 1:30pm)
  • Looks like the distillery is still closed sadly, that would have been a fun experience. We've been to the park, gardens and museum before, but thank you for the suggestions nonetheless! by s1h4d0w (Tue 18th Aug 2020 1:30pm)
  • View from the Leonardo Inn hotel yeah ;) by s1h4d0w (Fri 28th Aug 2020 11:45am)
  • The radiator was plonking so we got a free upgrade ;) by s1h4d0w (Fri 28th Aug 2020 2:06pm)
  • We got some trash bags from the hotel to use as makeshift boots, worked a charm by s1h4d0w (Fri 28th Aug 2020 3:06pm)
  • Yesterday around 18:00 ;) by s1h4d0w (Fri 28th Aug 2020 3:05pm)
  • Thanks for the explanation! The expiry thing works the same in my own country so I already told her she’ll need to do _something_ with it to make sure it doesn’t expire. But the sending a text tip is a really great one. Is there any sim provider you’d recommend? by s1h4d0w (Wed 2nd Jun 2021 12:39pm)
  • Thanks, much appreciated! by s1h4d0w (Wed 2nd Jun 2021 12:42pm)
  • One more question, I’m checking out giff gaff but data doesn’t seem to roll over. So if she buys a plan it will only be valid for a month and she’ll lose anything not used as far as I know? Am I misunderstanding or do I need a different plan? by s1h4d0w (Wed 2nd Jun 2021 12:52pm)
  • Perfect, thanks! by s1h4d0w (Wed 2nd Jun 2021 12:55pm)
  • Oh that’s also a very good tip, we visit asda regularly. Thanks! by s1h4d0w (Wed 2nd Jun 2021 1:01pm)
  • Can recommend, girlfriend got nails and they turned out great and very cute! by s1h4d0w (Tue 8th Feb 2022 7:34pm)
