  • For the foreseeable future, I was just referring to my move date being in one of those 4 months. Ideally earlier rather than later. by salty_scottie (Tue 10th Nov 2020 5:35pm)
  • I will be finished at my current job in May so could move anytime from late May thru August at the latest. Scotland qualifying may just force my hand to move earlier is all I was getting at. by salty_scottie (Tue 10th Nov 2020 5:34pm)
  • I see you are likely a geologist? That’s what I am currently finishing up my last semester of studies in. I’m from Scotland (UK passport and bank accounts) so I would imagine I wouldn’t have many issues with the latter. Fortunately we have friends and family who would put us up for a month or so while we could find something. Garden isn’t a necessity, we would prefer a walkable distance to a park though. by salty_scottie (Tue 10th Nov 2020 5:40pm)
  • Yeah the routes through europe were definitely what I had in mind. I know flying directly to Glasgow via KLM is an option but I was uncertain on cost and paperwork associated with that route. I’ve done enough research to know about the microchip, rabies vaccines and other necessary documentation but will need to check all of the details on that. The US department of agriculture has someone near me that I can discuss the legalities with though. by salty_scottie (Tue 10th Nov 2020 5:46pm)
  • I do love Dennistoun, that’s where my grandma and grandpa got their first flat too so a lot of good memories. by salty_scottie (Sun 15th Nov 2020 3:06am)
