  • I’ve not been but both my sisters are students there. It’s all overseen by a consultant so there’s no need to worry about the quality. But even then they have a bunch of training and classes before they’re let lose on people. I’d definitely say go for it. (Im actually thinking about it myself cause my wisdom teeth are starting to hurt n my dentist isn’t open yet) by samiam221b (Fri 28th May 2021 12:20pm)
  • You could look into renting a flat depending on your budget! In Scotland, you can no longer be held to a fixed term contract for a flat - it’s all on a rolling monthly. Depending on where you’re renting it can sometimes work out cheaper than student accommodation Or try a website like spareroom and see if anyone is looking for a flatmate. Good luck! by samiam221b (Sat 17th Jul 2021 5:08pm)

  • Google Scottish ADHD coalition. They have a bit on their website where you can contact them to find private clinicians. I don’t have the contact details to hand but their guide for Adult ADHD says you can contact them for a list. I’m currently about to start the NHS journey to see if I can get a diagnosis cause I can’t afford private rn. I wish you luck with your journey! by samiam221b (Tue 31st Aug 2021 3:26pm)

Whoever it is the does the tests sent me a form and I sent it back but I’ve never actually heard anything. Keep meaning to phone but, shocker, keep forgetting. by samiam221b (Thu 3rd Mar 2022 4:50pm)

  • You can get your covid passport on an app on your phone. I think a lot of places prefer that to the paper. With the negative LFT test, you take it at home within 24hours of you going to the event and then you log it online via the government website. It’s the same process you’d use to log a positive one but you just click that you’re negative. You’ll then get a text and/or email as proof. HOWEVER, i believe that there isn’t a legal requirement for either of these things anymore. I know some places are keeping the measures in place but I imagine cathouse won’t as their owner was very vocal about his dislike of a lot of rules lol. But I’d play it safe rather than sorry Hope that helps!! by samiam221b (Wed 16th Mar 2022 10:36am)
  • I mean it’s helpful in a way because I kinda thought I was going a bit nuts cause I was sure the west end would have been choices than there are! by samiam221b (Thu 7th Apr 2022 5:38pm)
  • I’ve not done it but considering the test starts in that car park it seems a bit unfair on folk doing their test to have you there practicing reverse parking. by samiam221b (Sat 9th Apr 2022 12:06pm)

  • They don’t tend to deliver to flats as they deliver earlier than most people are up. They don’t want to deal with the possible theft of leaving it at a close door and most folk won’t appreciate being woken at 4.30am to get some milk by samiam221b (Mon 20th Jun 2022 3:25pm)
  • Most houses are set back from a pavement and also don’t have a bunch of other people living in the building who could steal it by samiam221b (Mon 20th Jun 2022 5:09pm)
