  • Bear in mind a lot of the newer builds were thrown up at minimal cost and shite materials so they’re not without risk either - either way you’ll need building insurance by samwalksmaggie (Thu 28th Jan 2021 4:06pm)
  • Agreed although presumably they’re not all bad πŸ˜† by samwalksmaggie (Thu 28th Jan 2021 4:56pm)
  • Good on you, that’s awesome. Loving how many folk are just rolling up their sleeves and dealing with all the litter. I stay in South Lanarkshire and they distribute red bin bags which can be left when filled next to bins - not sure if it’s the same for GCC? by samwalksmaggie (Sat 10th Apr 2021 6:18pm)
  • They give them out to litter pickers - I’m in a fb local litter picker page, I’ll double check what the process is and reply here ☺️ by samwalksmaggie (Sat 10th Apr 2021 8:07pm)
  • Ok just checked - try Keep Scotland Beautiful and Clean up Scotland websites - they’re the ones that distribute the bags and litter pickers apparently- hope that helps πŸ€— by samwalksmaggie (Sat 10th Apr 2021 8:11pm)
  • Have you considered CrossFit? It’s mainly trainer led sessions which run throughout the day so you can go whenever suits. I’m not great at motivating myself to go to the gym either so found the structure of CrossFit better. They teach you how to do everything safely especially with weights and the classes are all mixed abilities - you just do what suits your ability. I lost a stone in a couple of months when I started πŸ˜„ by samwalksmaggie (Mon 27th Dec 2021 11:08am)

  • The Bungo is our go-to - never had a bad meal πŸ‘ by samwalksmaggie (Thu 7th Apr 2022 5:26pm)
  • Same here- love how there’s loads of other places popping up but none of them have been as good. The Bungo seems to get it all right - good food and drink, reasonably priced, super friendly chilled out staff and dog friendly! by samwalksmaggie (Thu 7th Apr 2022 8:40pm)

  • Holmhills park in Cambuslang has just been awarded a Nature Reserve or something like that. Also Fernbrae Meadows used to be a golf course. Both lovely for a walk by samwalksmaggie (Wed 25th May 2022 4:55pm)
  • I’ve been taking many fucking guesses but can’t come up with a logical one why grit would be being spread when the overnight temperature is 14 degrees by samwalksmaggie (Wed 21st Sep 2022 12:31pm)
