Interests:

  • One thing Glasgow does not lack is character. I have an American friend who loves it here, and I’m not sure he knows why, or certainly appears to have a greater affection than he’s able to articulate. by shocker3800 (Tue 2nd Apr 2019 6:52pm)

  • I used a guy called Kyle, he was recommended to me by a friend, did a fantastic job of install a new bathroom in my flat. He gutted the room, refitted and tiled the whole room for £3800, I had to buy the tiles independently but he got me a discount on them. His number is 07712 470 143 by shocker3800 (Tue 3rd Mar 2020 2:53pm)
  • The cost of the bathroom suit was around £1200, the install cost also covered the tiler and laborer for three full days. by shocker3800 (Wed 4th Mar 2020 12:11am)
  • I paid £2600 for 7 days work for three guys. Plumbing, electrics and tiling a wet room. I was quoted more than double by multiple high street outlets, which is to be expected by shocker3800 (Wed 4th Mar 2020 8:19am)
  • Looks like it’s something going on in the park, by the skater park. by shocker3800 (Fri 3rd Apr 2020 12:24pm)
  • It is nice having less cars in the city. I would like folk on bikes to use the road more, all too often cyclists are on the sidewalk when the roads are practically empty. by shocker3800 (Sat 2nd May 2020 10:20pm)

  • Not to be pedantic, have you seen its number are in decline, almost halved, whilst the number one hotspot is on the opposite trend, it’s really not good. by shocker3800 (Fri 28th May 2021 11:55pm)
  • There is a chance it is just coincidence, can’t discount that possibility. by shocker3800 (Sat 29th May 2021 12:55pm)
  • I think there is certainly a possibility. Thank goodness those in pollokshields took things seriously and halved their cases in less than a week. by shocker3800 (Sat 29th May 2021 9:36pm)
  • I currently have Gilmour & Son in doing a ceiling repair job through an insurance company. They’ve been pretty good so far, on time and keeping me up today but not seen the finished product yet. by shocker3800 (Wed 21st Jul 2021 11:26am)
  • I love Bibimbap, they do incredible Korean fried chicken. My wife loves their rice and noodle bowls as well. by shocker3800 (Mon 11th Oct 2021 12:45pm)

  • That is folks, cancel the climate change movement. by shocker3800 (Sun 7th Nov 2021 11:39am)
  • I’ve been wondering how this will hit hospitality, the largest section of unvaccinated are in the age brackets of those who work in the hospitality sector. If these changes are coming in, the industry needs to know as soon as possible or already tight labour market is gonna get considerably worse. In other countries vaccine passports were announced with lead times, allowing those unvaccinated to get their shots before the policy came into play. I feel the nature of the non-announcement hasn’t been the best approach. by shocker3800 (Wed 10th Nov 2021 3:39pm)
  • That I didn’t know. I’m guessing they’d have to maintain that, which would be far better for the hospitality industry. by shocker3800 (Wed 10th Nov 2021 4:26pm)
  • Sorry. by shocker3800 (Mon 24th Jan 2022 4:50pm)
  • Bibimbap is my absolute favorite right now. I had never tried Korean fried chicken wings before, oh god are they good. I now just order a big box of the chicken wings for my dinner, never disappoints. by shocker3800 (Mon 14th Feb 2022 6:27pm)
  • Affordable and efficient public transport. by shocker3800 (Wed 8th Jun 2022 10:31am)
  • I moved last month. I booked anyvan, two guys turn up, and one gets aggressive with my wife and walked off the job. Thought we were screwed, started calling removal companies, and came across A team removals, cannot express how much I appreciate these guys. They came round within 30 minutes of calling them, they matched the quote of AnyVan and did the job with twice the number of people. They really saved the day, and put my wife and I at peace, they were just the nicest people. by shocker3800 (Thu 14th Jul 2022 3:16pm)
  • Trams! There, I said it, we need bloody trams. by shocker3800 (Mon 5th Sep 2022 12:20pm)
  • Have to agree with this, though thundercat does a tremendous Chicago style pizza. by shocker3800 (Sat 10th Dec 2022 7:24pm)
  • Tbf, I’ve not got a great deal of experience when it comes to Chicago style. by shocker3800 (Sat 10th Dec 2022 9:57pm)
  • Think this is a conspiracy theory that’s kicking about, something to do with “the great reset”. It’s a load to shite. by shocker3800 (Thu 19th Jan 2023 3:58pm)
  • Reading that horrid tale, I’m not sure how the defendant’s identity is relevant. I think we all know this case will be used by certain types in incredibly bad faith. Feels like a bit of a dog whistle by shocker3800 (Fri 20th Jan 2023 2:25pm)
  • This is the problem, you and I are not the jury. The real jury will be present with the information in full, a shitty news rag will never reach that bar. by shocker3800 (Fri 20th Jan 2023 3:13pm)
  • I moved last year, had a the moving company cancel on the day of the move. I was out in contact with a-team removals, they literally saved the day, incredibly professional, on time and very pleasant. I cannot recommend them enough. https://ateamremovalsglasgow.com/ by shocker3800 (Fri 17th Mar 2023 12:05am)
