  • After plenty of research I think Vanilla Joe's is the best ice cream in Scotland, only 30 mins on the train from Glasgow and the store is right next to the station. That side of Irvine along the water is pretty nice too by snm729 (Thu 19th May 2022 7:32pm)

  • Echo a lot of the comments. In a similar situation to you, the hardest exercise for me was walking in the door but I chose PureGym to access more than one location. Shawlands has seemed fine when I've been. App is useful to see how busy it is, but your other option sounds good too.
