  • The Glasvegan if you're vegan or vegetarian. They do breakfast menu, lunch menu and normal menu last time I went. I haven't been in ages but apparently they do vegan milkshakes now??!!! Apparently GF menu as well however I cannot speak on whether its good or not. Super small restaurant but they do really good veganised meals. Boteco De Brasil do good Brazilian food and drinks, however I'd class it more of a dinner and a few drinks place. Staff sometimes hit or miss. Was reccomended by a old friend who was Brazilian. Been told they sometimes have events on at nighttime!! by spookysemen (Wed 31st May 2023 1:41am)
  • Unfortunately its super small venue, but the last time I was there the crowd was amazing. But in general like everyone else has said here its a small venue so you might have issues I know there's a bar area around the size?? So like the other commenter said that might be your only bet on avoiding the lights. There's also some seating at the back as well but I cannot say if it would help with the lights. I have issues with strobe lights and find wearing my sunglasses to gigs help a lot as well as keeping hydrated. by spookysemen (Mon 5th Jun 2023 1:04am)
  • Second this!! I had a look too, and the cat cafe (Purrple Cat Café) also has some new kittens in as well!! All the cats are rescue cats and are treated well by the staff. I find it's not too sensory overloading as well as they have a max of people they allow per session. by spookysemen (Sat 10th Jun 2023 11:24pm)
  • I'm on meds that make me heat sensitive and dehydrated as well as ashma that's triggered by high humidity and hot weather. I enjoyed last week's and mondays weather way more than this, Feel like im only breathing in hot air and its so suffocating and makes me feel so unwell. As well if I'm in no shade it makes me feel imma pass out. by spookysemen (Wed 14th Jun 2023 2:39pm)
  • Exactly, therapy and affordable therapy is hard to get here. Even once your diagnosed. (in my experience, they basically refused therapy even though it was on my diagnosis notes). I'm talking out of personal experiences here but OP's gf may have tried to reach out to her gp and have been told the waiting list was years long or to just go private. (Which isn't accesible to alot of people) The NHS mental health care has to do better to support vulnerable people. I've been through the same thing, but friend wise, and cannot imagine how devasting it is to loose your partner this way. (I still think of my friend) If OP's reading this, take care of yourself. Grief is a bitch and is so difficult. It'll take ages to regulate/figure our your emotions and to feel better but it will get better. Don't completely isolate, have your friends and supportive family members in but your side. I remember something I wanted to hear when I lost my friend was it wasn't my fault. That they were very ill & struggling. That they couldn't get the help they needed but at least I was a figure in their life that helped/made them happy before their thoughts got too loud. I hope this also helps you OP, because I remember when I was mourning I used to blame myself a lot. by spookysemen (Mon 26th Jun 2023 11:54am)
  • Did 30 minutes after, I felt like I didn't describe enough but I described my cards and ID so hopefully I'll have a situation like yours. I also filled out a First Bus. I'm really hoping they'll get back to me, it's going to be such a fucking pain in the ass to replace everything and go without a card and youngscot card for awhile. by spookysemen (Tue 11th Jul 2023 5:56pm)
  • Best part of the march was all the dogs, they were adorable !! by spookysemen (Sat 15th Jul 2023 8:50pm)
  • This is where I've settled on going, thanks to yours and other commenter comment!! Glad I've got given lots of suggestions to try out as well. by spookysemen (Fri 28th Jul 2023 5:23pm)
  • I put this in my 'to go' places, thank you so much!!! Its a bit far to where we're planning to go after food but it looks amazing. by spookysemen (Fri 28th Jul 2023 5:21pm)
  • Thank you so much!! I think we'll go here, the vegan menu looks amazing and more cheap as well. I saw they say their nut free!! So I'm pretty excited. by spookysemen (Fri 28th Jul 2023 5:20pm)

  • These are all look amazing, added them to my 'to go' places to eat!!! Thanks. Actually been really meaning to go to Suissi, perhaps another day because it's too far from where we're going after dinner unfortunately. by spookysemen (Fri 28th Jul 2023 5:25pm)
  • That's actual funny, I had an interview last year. Will definitely scope it out another day food wise however, thanks. by spookysemen (Fri 28th Jul 2023 5:30pm)
  • I called NHS 24/7 the other day at 6pm for an ear infection (with hearing loss but it was earwax buildup) and got seen later that night (8pm) & given a prescription. I really reccomend NHS 24/7 because your not stuck in the hospital waiting. Avoid Glasgow Royal Infirmary A&E/Hospital at all cost, they made me wait for 4 hours for an asthma attack last year & could of died. by spookysemen (Fri 11th Aug 2023 2:13pm)
  • If you're part of the lgbtq community there's events held by some communities & groups that are unintentionally autism friendly. At least in my experience. If you're interested , I'd be comfortable sending some links in the DMs. by spookysemen (Thu 24th Aug 2023 4:39pm)
  • Thank you !! by spookysemen (Thu 24th Aug 2023 9:20pm)
  • Events I found on there have been fun & I felt safe during them as a woman so far. Not sure how good it is for long-term friendships. It's still a fun thing to do if you're bored. Sometimes you'll meet people that will invite you events from other groups/charities if your personalities & interests merge. I go to meetups that are based around my interests or my community. I don't do it often, once or twice a month. by spookysemen (Sat 26th Aug 2023 10:15pm)
