  • I'll give them a shout, thank you 😁 by stargazingcat_ (Tue 24th Nov 2020 6:21pm)
  • Oh my god this is great, thank you!! I sent this to my family member and they said this was the back haha, this is the closest we've came though I appreciate it by stargazingcat_ (Tue 24th Nov 2020 6:21pm)
  • I've cut down on dairy but havent quite been able to give up dairy milk in my tea or the odd chocolate milk. Can confirm violife is banging, just dont use too much of it - a little goes a long way. I also never eat it cold, only melted. I'd say grated violife is the best. by stargazingcat_ (Fri 27th Nov 2020 11:57am)
  • I used to work in a skating rink nearby, just got my first skates for Christmas haha! Anywhere outdoor you’d recommend for beginner skating near the west end/city centre? :) by stargazingcat_ (Mon 22nd Feb 2021 11:14am)
  • My partner and I are in our early twenties in the west end and have been willing to get the vaccine since day one. Very frustrating seeing people my age on social media who have been vaccinated (due to their jobs, or as some I’ve-heard have said they’re unpaid carers) out and about, meeting up indoors with each other, going shopping etc as they feel safer to do so. I don’t even want to go out gallivanting, I just don’t want covid :-( by stargazingcat_ (Sun 16th May 2021 10:35pm)
  • Cheers all, I feel a bit better about booking in now! I have terrible vision and my goggles only correct my vision so much haha. by stargazingcat_ (Tue 18th May 2021 7:14pm)
  • Please keep an eye out around Kelvingrove park, we’re really worried. She’s chipped and scared, DM me if you see her by stargazingcat_ (Wed 28th Jul 2021 7:12pm)
  • Hey, my cats still missing. Please keep an eye out for her by stargazingcat_ (Fri 30th Jul 2021 3:14pm)
  • I hate the fact that they take over the subways on game days. As a young woman I sometimes need to use them to get home from work and they’re rude, arrogant and try to intimidate. by stargazingcat_ (Sun 1st Aug 2021 3:10pm)
  • These things happen man, we all have days when our brains are idiots. They’ve probably found it funny or maybe didn’t even notice. by stargazingcat_ (Thu 2nd Sep 2021 1:49pm)
  • I swear by either Forest or forevermore. Blancolo are good for basic piercings, but they’re sizing is terrible in my experience (they may have improved). Forest are app accredited I’m sure by stargazingcat_ (Fri 3rd Sep 2021 1:25am)
  • St Enochs centre, 5 stars by stargazingcat_ (Mon 11th Oct 2021 2:15am)
  • Mixed bag. Been in carriages were everyone was masked bar a few people, it gives me the fear other times because there’ll be large groups of people totally unmasked. Lots of old people/parents of small children unmasked by stargazingcat_ (Sun 24th Oct 2021 4:27pm)
  • Had to try and find a new flat to rent recently after being evicted through no fault of our own. The amount of people trying to do “long term” lets through Airbnb (where you don’t have any security or rights in comparison to a usual let) is gross. by stargazingcat_ (Mon 25th Oct 2021 11:13am)
  • Pole Physique near Glasgow Green holds open practice sessions, it’s a really lovely studio :) by stargazingcat_ (Sun 28th Nov 2021 3:12am)
  • From what I’ve seen the subways more like 70% compliance, and shops even less. by stargazingcat_ (Mon 29th Nov 2021 5:27pm)
  • My partner and I got evicted through no fault of our own in September, we have every single viewing cancelled (most on the day) despite offering to put down a deposit. I wfh and spent weeks literally refreshing right move and the like and couldn’t get a single successful viewing. We were “lucky” enough that our letting agent felt guilty for our landlord evicting us (and then not letting us rent the more expensive flat upstairs that was available because they wanted someone “more professional” - we’re both civil servants :)))) and gave us first refusal on a more expensive flat nearby. Good luck, it’s a jungle out there. by stargazingcat_ (Tue 4th Jan 2022 6:55am)
  • Got sacked from that campaign for asking for more training, legit about five of us left for we help the same week of training) which wasn’t much better but paid a tiny bit better at least. by stargazingcat_ (Tue 1st Feb 2022 11:23pm)
  • Loved the abc bouncers! They knew us by name after being regulars on a Friday and they were always looking out for us. They gave me a poster once after they saw me admiring it (my partner and I were going to the gig advertised) s/o to my man noddy by stargazingcat_ (Mon 14th Mar 2022 10:55pm)

  • Greens - they’re the only ones who want a better future, the rest are too busy worrying how they can squeeze more money from us by stargazingcat_ (Mon 2nd May 2022 7:58pm)
  • Got a bunch of credit card debt and haven't been out my overdraft from being a student, then years on minimum wage. Working full time whilst my partner works part time, slowly been giving up all of of our hobbies and making cut backs. by stargazingcat_ (Fri 19th Aug 2022 12:58am)
  • Did a trial shift at Wagamama's Silverburn when I was 17. Only girl in the kitchen full of much older male chefs, they joked that one of the guys was called "Pedo", pronounced pehdo, and he "liked young girls". Was young and inexperienced and lasted half the trial shift before saying I was sick and leaving. Was clearly just used for free labour on a busy Saturday shift, absolutely disgusting place. by stargazingcat_ (Sun 25th Sep 2022 5:10pm)

  • Thank you! Yeah, they open at 08.30 and I've been put in a queue and every time I get through all the appointments are gone. I feel bad saying it's urgent because I'm not dying or anything, just struggling to do anything but sleep/worry :( by stargazingcat_ (Mon 21st Nov 2022 10:16am)
  • You're still hoarding a property, stealing someone else's income to pay for you. You're part of the problem however you spin it. by stargazingcat_ (Thu 29th Dec 2022 8:47pm)
  • Tried to get home after a gym class the other week using the 10 (which had already been late with two 10s whizzing by me as I walked to the bus stop). Bus was meant to be at 21.50, the screen showed it as being 21.50 the app the same. No bus. That's fine I guess, next one is at 22.20, I'll wait. It got to 22.15 and the next bus then appeared to be 36 mins away on the screen. By this point I was starving and cold, also acutely aware that I'm a 5"3 woman waiting in the dark in a not so great area, so I ubered home. All in all, it cost me £4.50 to take one bus and £9 in a taxi by stargazingcat_ (Fri 10th Feb 2023 8:53pm)
  • Please dont listen to people telling you it's "uncouth" to take your medicine, which a doctor has decided is medically necessary/useful for your condition, in public. Like others have said, carry a pic of your prescription/the bottle etc just in case, but the smell of normal cigarettes is way worse and more harmful than some vaped medical cannibas. Hope it helps. by stargazingcat_ (Mon 20th Feb 2023 10:00am)

  • I hope you get your wee baby back. Just for some hope - my cat went missing in 2021, and was found 197 days later! She swam across the Kelvin and was skinny and stinky, but now she's purring away (and a bit chubby). Fingers crossed for you, please don't ever give up hope and post on Facebook, twitter and Instagram! Facebook is how my girl was found. by stargazingcat_ (Sun 16th Jul 2023 5:10pm)
