  • Don't worry, all content was filmed according to the restrictions in place at the time. Looking forward to being able to venture further again when the restrictions are lifted. by stripeyhatguy (Wed 16th Dec 2020 6:53pm)

  • Just looked out the window and it seems to be that campsies/queens view got for sure some snow. I assume Kilpatrick Hills as well. Here is a link to some [Videos ("Glasgow Hills")](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIhqUIAOjr2GL0GpwurYYPjSHo0awD5us) to the hills if you would plan a wee walk it might help. by stripeyhatguy (Sun 27th Dec 2020 8:27am)
  • Happy Hogmanay everyone! by stripeyhatguy (Fri 1st Jan 2021 11:37am)
  • Hi willy_teee, yes, it's the only time I get out for exercise per week. I spend the rest of the week at home on childcare duties. Getting out in the fresh air is important not just for physical but also mental wellbeing and I was adhering to all current restrictions. Thanks for your concern. All the best. by stripeyhatguy (Sat 13th Feb 2021 6:04pm)
  • Thanks a lot. by stripeyhatguy (Sat 13th Feb 2021 6:34pm)

  • Thanks. I think we can be so happy to have them, actually I see them every day from my kitchen :-) by stripeyhatguy (Sat 13th Feb 2021 7:02pm)
  • I have been in the Campsies quite a lot. The quietest place is near Fintry but regarding the lite pollution it is for astrophotography quite bright, but said this even in Glencoe it was for my desired pictures quite bright (was hunting for the milky way in October, should have been above the Buachaille Etive Mor). Kilpatrick Hills are in my opinion not as nice as the Campsies (amount/type of people + hiking routes). Have some routes on my [YouTube](https://youtube.com/c/StripeyHatGuy) Channel if you want to have an idea how it looks like. by stripeyhatguy (Sun 11th Apr 2021 4:32pm)
  • Haha is a really nice hill Meikle Bin, Hope you enjoyed your trip :-) by stripeyhatguy (Mon 12th Apr 2021 7:50am)
  • Just an alternative route up Dumgoyne which I haven't seen before online. Went up the normal way for sunrise, then down again to Dumgoyne's East Side and up again. Think that is an interesting alternative to the standard way. by stripeyhatguy (Wed 14th Apr 2021 11:09pm)
  • Dumgoyn/ the Campsies are a really great place for hiking! The Campsies have much more to offer then Dumgoyne and Earl's Seat (Slackdhu, Jenny's Lum, Black Craig's, green belt,...) from easy to difficult really for everyone something and near Glasgow without the typical "Glencoe" crowd's. by stripeyhatguy (Thu 29th Apr 2021 9:51pm)
  • Have quite some hikes on my channel to the Campsies if you can bother. Some are more difficult, some are nice and easy. [YouTube Link](https://youtube.com/c/StripeyHatGuy) by stripeyhatguy (Wed 5th May 2021 1:11pm)
