  • This one is by far the best, I don't know why people are recommending other places when this place is top 50 UK. by theghosthost16 (Thu 23rd Jun 2022 12:00am)
  • Rishis is great, best Indian food around with plethora of veg options. by theghosthost16 (Tue 28th Jun 2022 5:25pm)
  • Was about to say. The post is extremely anti-police for practically no reason. I'm not a law student/have nothing to do with law, I'm a scientist, and thus I gun more on the importance of statistics. It is not the same to have a few bad encounters than to have everyone that has ever dealt with the police have the same encounter. In statistics we call this the variance (with respect to an average). It is absolutely important to distinguish your own experience from generalizations, and unfortunately OP did not see the difference. This makes any advice inherently incomplete and extremely biased. The police are not pigs, they are not corrupt. That's not only disrespectful to them as an institution, but the ones that are doing it right. Imagine if I were to say that all law students are completely ignorant just because OP displayed a bias. by theghosthost16 (Wed 29th Jun 2022 4:38pm)
  • Assuming my sample size were big enough, then yes, absolutely. by theghosthost16 (Thu 30th Jun 2022 10:18am)
  • From Spain, and sadly, please don't go to Andaluz or Málaga tapas. Not only is it overpriced, but they're both completely horrible and have very little to do with the actual food. You're basically paying for glorified garbage. If you want good Spanish food, go to Edinburgh - Indaba café and Piggs are two I highly recommend. by theghosthost16 (Sat 2nd Jul 2022 11:21pm)
  • I made it home safe, miraculously, and I don't even know how. As per health-wise, had a few migraines and really bad hand-eye coordination issues. Otherwise I'm fine, I think. Emotionally? I'm actually rather disappointed; I was furious, or at least I remember being this morning when I was limping back, but above all I just can't believe what happened. Also, thank you for your response. This looks like it's helpful. Do you have any further advice on how to display this situation to them? by theghosthost16 (Sat 2nd Jul 2022 11:39pm)
  • Thank you kindly, I appreciate the advice. by theghosthost16 (Sat 2nd Jul 2022 11:46pm)
  • My body doesn't react to it well, and that's why I've also been trying to quit. I actually have liver issues due to it, which is why I was worried. by theghosthost16 (Sat 2nd Jul 2022 11:45pm)
  • Out of plain curiosity, is it legal to kick an incapacitated patient out? Genuinely asking. by theghosthost16 (Sat 2nd Jul 2022 11:53pm)
  • Yes, indeed. by theghosthost16 (Sat 2nd Jul 2022 11:52pm)
  • Waiting is the least of my issues. I can understand if they're busy. What I'm appalled by was the lack of knowledge displayed by the doctor, her demeanor to get me out as soon as possible, and the fact that she actually kicked me out in that state. That's what I'm appalled by. In any case, thank you for the reply. by theghosthost16 (Sun 3rd Jul 2022 12:12am)
  • Get a clubcard for the fruits section in Tesco. There's plenty of restaurants, and this app which you can use (can't remember the name) which sells food for very cheap that's about to be chucked away by them. Don't wonder near the river at night unless you're looking for trouble. There's a huge Morrisons near the center which has a lot of nice stuff. Most of what you need can be found on the Argyle-Buchannan-Sauchiehall trifecta. Make use of the little foreign supermarkets, as they often have very cheap ingredients which are very good. Queen's park is beautiful on a good day (and even on a bad one). There's an amazing cat cafe called "The purple cat café"; worth going, and amazing cake. Stay away from day-to-day express, as their products are generally rank (heard of maggots in chips). If using the subway, get a pass, as it's better. by theghosthost16 (Tue 13th Sep 2022 10:51pm)
  • I did this with a buddy of mine, and that hike is amazing. We ended up staying in a lodge there, which made it even better. That island is beautiful. by theghosthost16 (Tue 13th Sep 2022 10:59pm)
