  • I dont know why he said fixed leases are not a thing because they definitely still are. alot of places will be a 6 month lease then go on to month to month after that but it will depend on the landlord or letting agency by weemmza (Tue 9th Jul 2019 4:16pm)
  • do you have wee harnesses n wee leashes? could go find a quiet spot in a park if it's not pouring down 🤷‍♀️ by weemmza (Mon 2nd Sep 2019 6:28pm)

  • probably not the best advice but in the past I have just not declared having a pet after struggling to find a pet friendly flat. then I just made sure i kept the flat clean and hid all evidence of a pet during inspections. it's not ideal but it's an option. you could also offer to pay a higher deposit or a "pet deposit" if landlords are concerned about potential damage. Depending on the landlord that gesture of responsibility might be enough to persuade them by weemmza (Mon 10th Feb 2020 12:57pm)
  • I wouldnt say rangers fans were anti English. do most of them not love the royals and the union n the "god save the queen" crap? by weemmza (Fri 1st May 2020 11:15pm)

  • personally dont mind a child on the pavement or if its really quiet or a wide pavement then ok for adult but not if its narrow or busy, just comes across as inconsiderate. also.. tbh. as a driver.. hate bikes on the road. going slow n not moving out the way. if you do cycle just please dont go out on the road with no helmet wearing all black.. that is the worst! by weemmza (Fri 27th Nov 2020 3:35pm)
  • yeah I'd be annoyed to be fair. like driving up someone's arse n beeping the horn to move them.. it's the same principal n it's just rude by weemmza (Fri 27th Nov 2020 3:39pm)
  • could be argued that the cyclists are being inconsiderate to drivers rather than the other way around. taking up the road, moving drastically under the speed limit. not moving out the way when they easily could. even better...wearing no helmet n wearing all black n expecting to be seen and safe. I'll get downvoted for saying it but most cyclists act like they are entitled and superior n I want them to get the fuck out my way tbh. I don't have time to drive at 7 mph instead of 30 cos the bike wont move or pull over n let the traffic past its so selfish n they stress out drivers so much by weemmza (Fri 27th Nov 2020 3:49pm)
  • also shouldn't be on the pavement unless it's a child or a quiet and wide pavement. agreed cycle lanes arent great but go a different route or walk with the bike or something. by weemmza (Fri 27th Nov 2020 3:52pm)
  • yeah.. noone intentionally drives behind a bike. productive comment tho. go you by weemmza (Sat 28th Nov 2020 4:42pm)
  • taking a different route doesnt guarantee theres no bikes on the road but ok by weemmza (Sat 28th Nov 2020 9:58pm)
  • also. I never said they should take a different route. i said they should just be courteous n move out the way for drivers 👍 by weemmza (Sat 28th Nov 2020 10:00pm)
  • no cars on cycle paths :) :) :) by weemmza (Sun 29th Nov 2020 10:04am)
  • noooooo no no. waiting 2 weeks for the green bin to get emptied is bad enough! theres gonna be so much more litter flying about the streets. over flowing bins. bin bags getting tore open by foxes or rats. by weemmza (Sat 30th Jan 2021 10:39am)
  • I've not had one yet, was handy to get the heads up by weemmza (Sat 30th Jan 2021 10:41am)
  • recycling in Glasgow has been every 2 weeks for years now. where I am anyways. 1 week is green the next week is blue and so on by weemmza (Sat 30th Jan 2021 10:40am)
  • sorry I was referring to that part where you said Glasgow doing recycling every 2nd week was ridiculous. recycling has been every second week already for years by weemmza (Sat 30th Jan 2021 12:15pm)
  • I totally agree. especially if the general waste is going to be 3 weekly now, they should increase the frequency of the recycling pick up to counter balance it at the very least. or give us more bins by weemmza (Sat 30th Jan 2021 1:26pm)

  • I used to work at the Garage years ago and this was the rule, gigs allow age 14+ so it's to avoid an of age person coming up n ordering a drink for themselves and for someone underage. The venue gets massively fined when underagers are caught drinking As a teen I'd ask someone older to get me a drink so it's not that unreasonable by weemmza (Mon 16th Oct 2023 12:10pm)
