  • Same here. I packed my job in on the 14th of feb to study for some exams.it was meant to be just for a few months till l passed. Was meant to be applying for perm.jobs at the same time. I'm grateful my husband is still working from home but I am losing the will to live. I need my normal back. by zhaider87 (Sat 13th Jun 2020 10:03am)
  • Totally, you wonder if you are the only one sticking to the rules. Then you feel like an ass for being a good citizen when you see everyone out having a wonderful time and you are stuck at home. The FM has said there are to be further easements next week, but if they are to be every 3 weeks I don't think I can wait that long until everything is open. That would be mid September!!! While I don't agree with the anti lockdown protests in certain parts of America I can understand their feelings behind it. It is getting to a point where enough is enough though. What's it been, 12 weeks? by zhaider87 (Sat 13th Jun 2020 10:25am)
  • So much this!!! I agreeeeeee!!!! by zhaider87 (Tue 23rd Jun 2020 10:18pm)
  • Thanks for that, I'll have a look. I had heard about it before but I was a bit wary as I didn't know anyone that had done it. by zhaider87 (Thu 25th Jun 2020 10:16pm)
  • Yeah, it would be great if it had the name on it the harness so we could call. I just know him as the beautiful brown dog lol. Not much help is it 🙃🙃. We will keep trying, it's been my dream since I was a little girl. by zhaider87 (Thu 25th Jun 2020 10:20pm)
  • Oh, thanks for that I'll head over there and check it out :) by zhaider87 (Thu 25th Jun 2020 10:31pm)
  • That sounds great. I am a bit apprehensive about being a dog owner as I understand the huge responsibility behind it. It's reassuring to know that there is someone to guide you through it and help you decide what's best for your situation. I will search for them, thanks for the heads up! by zhaider87 (Fri 26th Jun 2020 11:18am)
  • Sounds ideal, I had a look at her website but she's only got 2 up just now. Wonder if its because if travel restrictions due to covid? I'll keep checking back. by zhaider87 (Fri 26th Jun 2020 11:43am)
  • Thanks for replying! Do you know of any fostering communities that I can connect with? by zhaider87 (Fri 26th Jun 2020 7:04pm)
  • Lol by zhaider87 (Wed 1st Jul 2020 5:18pm)
  • Try Facebook marketplace. It's genuinely the only reason I use Facebook. You can find everything from couches, wardrobes, bookshelves and so much more. You can negotiate the price with the seller and most of them are really nice. Just be careful and smart as there are some scammers on there. Make sure if its over a certain amount to go and see them item and pay by PayPal business incase some trys it. I've bought about 8 items off there and only ever had an issue once. by zhaider87 (Sat 4th Jul 2020 11:12pm)
  • Crispy rolls are the devils work. Everytime I eat one the roof of my mouth gets obliterated. Is there some secret I don't know about? by zhaider87 (Fri 17th Jul 2020 1:23pm)
  • I'm starting to feel it's a bit odd too, especially doing a quick Google search. The dogs trust as always adamant in their listing that you need to have prior experience of the breed. Being first time owners thats never really going to happen 🙃 though we would prefer jt. by zhaider87 (Sun 26th Jul 2020 3:49pm)
  • Yeah, I appreciate your final paragraph, all dog's will be different. I have gut feeling that this probably isn't for us as, like you said, most of these dogs will have brought in off the street and will have all sorts of behaviour issues. Thinking the best bet might be to call the local dogs trust and just ask them to keep us in mind if anything suitable comes up. by zhaider87 (Sun 26th Jul 2020 4:39pm)
  • What a waste of building honestly. Move the council to another building and have this open to the public with maybe a cafe at the top, a library at the bottom, maybe a hotel I don't know but anything would be better than having it restricted for the council only. by zhaider87 (Sun 2nd Aug 2020 4:50pm)
  • Yeah, i know, and its good, but still a waste. I want to stay over the night and explore it, go to the rooftop and have a cocktail or a meal (weather allowing) and actually EXPERIENCE the place. Not just pop in for a 30 min tour. by zhaider87 (Sun 2nd Aug 2020 8:10pm)
  • In use by a very small part of the population. It would do kuchen better and probably bring in more revenue if it was open to the public. by zhaider87 (Sun 2nd Aug 2020 8:59pm)
  • It's not a problem, it's an opinion and last I checked we were all entitled to one. Happy for someone to change my mind with a constructive argument. by zhaider87 (Mon 3rd Aug 2020 12:23am)
  • Double glazed PVC windows made of cerry glass. :) by zhaider87 (Tue 4th Aug 2020 4:46pm)
  • So, I had asked them if they could leave them behind because I've seen people flogging them for a fair bit of money on gumtree Facebook etc. Is that stupid? Should I just tell them to take them away. by zhaider87 (Tue 4th Aug 2020 5:12pm)
  • Fair enough, sorry I'm totally new to this. They are tilt and turn windows. by zhaider87 (Tue 4th Aug 2020 6:48pm)
  • You are amazing, thank you so much !!! by zhaider87 (Tue 4th Aug 2020 10:08pm)
  • This is absolutely fantastic 👏 🙌 👌. I will have to Google all the technical words you have used but I'm honestly bowled over that you would spend so much of your time to write such a detailed reply. Much appreciated! by zhaider87 (Tue 4th Aug 2020 10:10pm)
  • Yup, that was the first thing I checked! Thanks for checking i checked 😅😅 by zhaider87 (Wed 5th Aug 2020 12:04pm)
  • Self factored unfortunately, I want to push to change it but not sure where to start as a bunch of them are rented out. by zhaider87 (Sun 9th Aug 2020 10:42am)
  • Really really happy. We were so nervous about doing them as we wanted to keep the original woodwork bit they did a fantastic job. Their name is goldseal windows. They invite you to the factory to come and see how the windows are made etc. Thry also use a glass called cerry glass that is specially manufactured in Ireland and mistly used by construction workers for those big glass buildings you see. We had 6 windows replaced and all of them were over 2 meters high. The cost was in the reigon of 3.5k by zhaider87 (Sun 9th Aug 2020 11:49am)
  • There is one particular family that always refuses to for out...though they drive bmw's and have 3 of them 🤔 by zhaider87 (Sun 9th Aug 2020 11:46am)
  • This company are very fair i have to say. We didn't get a quote for triple glazed but i don't think it will be as much as 12k. They are also not pushy at all and the sales rep billy is a lovely guy. The fitters didn't leave any mess behind and they also resealed 2 other windows for me even though it wasn't their job. I found the company by applying for one those window grants adverts you see on facebook, I thought it was all nonsense until I tried it just to see what would happen and I got a callback from an agent who hooked us up with these guys. I do think it's nonsense at the end of the day because the sales guy gave us a cheaper quote than with the grant. I'm not sure how it works but maybe they calw back the money from the government. No idea. by zhaider87 (Sun 9th Aug 2020 12:04pm)
  • Aha, I hadn't thought about the down pipes. I was thinking that since we moved in (Jan last year) we haven't seen the gutters cleaned even once. 🤔 by zhaider87 (Sun 9th Aug 2020 12:40pm)
  • When we bought the flat the roof had been fixed and should still be under warranty, should I perhaps call-up the company that did the job to come out and have a look at it? Thanks for the detailed response i really appreciate it. by zhaider87 (Sun 9th Aug 2020 12:49pm)
  • I've just edited the post to include the dubious looking guarantee, does it help any? by zhaider87 (Sun 9th Aug 2020 1:06pm)
  • Aha, thats a handy tool, thankyou! by zhaider87 (Sun 9th Aug 2020 9:39pm)
  • That's definately a sensible way to approach it. by zhaider87 (Sun 9th Aug 2020 9:39pm)
  • Hiya. Happy to help. We went with a company called goldseal. We had 6 windows installed. Each one was 2.1m tall and between 600cm and 800cm wide. The fitters did a great job and were very helpful, I asked their advice about our remaining old windows at the back if the property and they said they were fine just needed a re-seal which they did totally free!! Lovely guys and professional and left minimal mess behind. Turned up at 8am and were away by 3pm. The windows cost £3,600 including fitting and 5 year warranty. They are made of cerry glass and are double glazed. You can even go out to the factory and see how they are built, it was pretty cool! I would definitely recommend them over those 'our pvc is made from the same stuff as Mercedes car bumpers' guys. by zhaider87 (Tue 11th Aug 2020 2:49pm)
  • Oh my, I think I might live on the same street as you. And yes, its driving me bonkers! by zhaider87 (Thu 20th Aug 2020 4:04pm)
  • I read it as Marks Worst and came here to say this, beat me to it!! by zhaider87 (Sat 12th Sep 2020 12:11am)
  • We did for 5 years. It was amazing. We had a ground floor flat for 2 years then moved to an upper balcony flat for 3 years. The balcony flats are fantastic and depending on what side you live on you can see the fireworks every Christmas and hogmanay. We miss it so much 😢 😪 by zhaider87 (Mon 14th Sep 2020 10:32pm)
  • Aww, there's a cheeky wee cherub round the corner from this, I used to see it on my way to work every day. Its at the top of the building on the left hand side in its own little alcove. by zhaider87 (Thu 24th Sep 2020 7:16am)
  • Haha, i was going to mention that but I couldn't be bothered typing it out. The Trans Europe cafe is lovely if you've not been! We miss Tony so much, we used to see him every Sunday morning 😭😭😭 by zhaider87 (Thu 24th Sep 2020 8:36am)
  • So much screeching. Its disgusting. by zhaider87 (Sat 31st Oct 2020 12:03am)

  • Amazing! Thankyou! by zhaider87 (Mon 21st Dec 2020 11:03pm)
  • Definitely not easy!!! I feel your pain, we've been trying for about 3 months now and boy does the constant sex get boring...who would thought eh. by zhaider87 (Mon 8th Feb 2021 9:45pm)
  • Hahaha rumpy puppy 🤣. It's crazy right, can't have one for trying and other folk are having happy accidents! Might need to venture down the adventurous avenue and try out something new. I read that female orgasm helps the cilia in the uterus move the sperm up the uterus toward the tubes. I also read some weird Chinese myth that if you keep your body warm all the time leading up ovulation your chances of getting preggo are higher. So basically keep her warm and make her orgasm. Might work *shrugs shoulders* by zhaider87 (Mon 8th Feb 2021 9:54pm)
  • Thanks for the tips! (No pun intended) by zhaider87 (Mon 8th Feb 2021 10:03pm)
  • oh my god, that's crazy!! I thought any deep penetration would be enough, I guess there's a reason why missionary is the tried and tested position. by zhaider87 (Tue 9th Feb 2021 10:27am)

  • Great! We don't use Instagram so thanks for posting here. Unfortunately we can't make this one as we both work 9 to 5s but hopefully we can attend another one! Do you hold them on specific days (ie first Monday of the month)? by zhaider87 (Sat 6th Mar 2021 10:48pm)
  • You can have a locksmith come out and remove the snib so it can't be left unlocked. We resorted to that in our close. by zhaider87 (Sun 21st Mar 2021 4:10pm)
  • Ditto for me and my husband too! We're fed up of all the garbage floating about everywhere in Dennistoun. by zhaider87 (Mon 12th Apr 2021 3:20pm)
  • It saddens me that it was allowed to get into such a state of disrepair, such a shame. There are so many stunning buildings in Glasgow and I hate it when they are just closed off and abandoned. Like the huge building opposite the church in St Andrews in the Square, I've always dreamed of buying that place and doing it up. by zhaider87 (Tue 27th Apr 2021 7:53am)
