  • Refuweegee do amazing things welcoming people to glasgow and helping them settle and with the pandemic helping whoever needs it! They usually update their website with opportunities and also have a fb group :) by BarneyJ321 (Sun 22nd Nov 2020 8:48pm)
  • There’s a woman who walks about Sauchiehall street with real pigeons on her shoulders and perched on her hands Shite to call anyone “crazy” though by BarneyJ321 (Thu 26th Nov 2020 10:40pm)
  • Absolutely. You don’t know the woman and you’re making assumptions on her mental health and implying she’s violent - equating “crazy” with people who would “freak out and bite”. Bit much for feeding some birds. Really. by BarneyJ321 (Thu 26th Nov 2020 11:43pm)

  • I’m getting mine next week... one step closer to normality and I expect I might be a a bit emotional about it. Tbf im emotional about everything these days. But I’ve heard from colleagues seeing the Louisa Jordan capacity and the thought that it could have been full has brought a few people to tears by BarneyJ321 (Tue 5th Jan 2021 7:54pm)

  • Years ago was going to the pictures with bf, he was at the pub and I was to pick him up in a taxi to go there. We argued before I left but we were both being stubborn so planned to still go anyway I phoned a taxi, got in and it was this. Get to the pub, pick up my ABBA/kareoke hating bf and he thought I’d done it on purpose to wind him up Wish I had - he was even more raging but I had a ball by BarneyJ321 (Thu 13th May 2021 9:28pm)
  • My mum had an aneurysm about 5 years ago.... afterwards she felt the same. Really struggled with mood regulation and not being able to concentrate therefore having to leave her job. She went to headway and really enjoyed it - even ended up on the board and we done all sorts of fun things to raise money for them. Highly recommend! I hope you find peace and the support you’re looking for by BarneyJ321 (Thu 13th May 2021 9:31pm)

  • Just explain you’re situation to you’re gp and you’re preferences and why. They should be trying to make you’re health service as accessible as possible. So I’d request a letter detailing you’re conversations after each appointment and also would take me own notes throughout the call if you are able and let them know you’re doing this and may need to pause from time to time Good luck! by BarneyJ321 (Fri 16th Jul 2021 9:09pm)
  • I’m at Stirling uni but provided the documentation they asked for - their form filled out and stamped - along with the application. Haven’t heard anything back by BarneyJ321 (Tue 26th Oct 2021 5:30pm)
