  • I'm a film student. Not technically a project directly related to my course, but I'm planning on using techniques I've learned about documentary to try and create a peice on Glasgow politics. Not submitting it or anything. just trying to use what I've learned irl. by BlueSpaceTwink (Mon 18th Jan 2021 11:53pm)
  • aye, I volunteer for a Woman's team and you never get anything close to what u do at the men's game. I'm a big supporter of Partick Thistle, have been going to games since I was a kid - but the fans of the men's game can be so insufferable. esp as a queer person, having all the macho homophobia every Saturday afternoon. by BlueSpaceTwink (Mon 8th Mar 2021 3:36pm)
  • Honestly, i was the same. Im a Thistle fan so never been close to either of the old firm. But in the years post indyref I've been finding Rangers harder and harder to deal with. by BlueSpaceTwink (Mon 8th Mar 2021 3:40pm)

  • a lot of kittens and puppies on Gumtree and other online places have been mistreated, taken from their mums too soon, not been neutered or given their jags. iirc a lot of folk just have like kitten farms and sell ill cats off for a quick buck, would be best to stay clear or make sure you very thoroughly vet first. by BlueSpaceTwink (Tue 13th Apr 2021 11:37pm)
  • ik what it's like to loose photos, so I'll hang onto it for a week or so, but then I'll just smash it up after that - by BlueSpaceTwink (Sat 24th Apr 2021 1:49pm)
  • hey! yeh that's fair, could you suggest a Glasgow based politics channel I could post this on? Appreciate it :)) by BlueSpaceTwink (Tue 4th May 2021 10:14pm)
  • thanks :) by BlueSpaceTwink (Tue 4th May 2021 11:06pm)
  • dk why you are being down voted, its a very reasonable point. Yeh, for me and many here, wither or not the vaccine is halal pays no difference, but to many it does. It should be up to the gov' to ensure these folks that everything is OK, not up to ppl to abandon their religious beliefs. by BlueSpaceTwink (Mon 17th May 2021 11:06am)
  • if you call Glasgow your home - then you are a native! (love the shirt btw) by BlueSpaceTwink (Fri 11th Jun 2021 11:28pm)

  • ik it's not much - but ik for a fact that when I was a bit younger some times even the train fair to town was a big spend for me. Free's free. get a couple of cans of bru instead, always a good deal. by BlueSpaceTwink (Sun 20th Jun 2021 5:58pm)
  • aye. that's them gone...... by BlueSpaceTwink (Tue 29th Jun 2021 12:16pm)

  • This looks perfect, thank you so much. I'll send them a message on Twitter - appreciated. And Glasgow Greens actually perfect too - just along the cycle path from me! by BlueSpaceTwink (Tue 29th Jun 2021 3:42pm)
  • I can understand how from an outsider perspective it could seem like this. But in reality this is nowhere near the case. I'm not looking for a gay only team, I'm just looking for a place where I can play the sport I love without feeling, at best, like an outsider, and at worse in danger. LGBT inclusive teams let anyone and everyone play, but the title alone helps me know that I'll be safe to play there. At my old club I was forced to change in the disabled toilets, I was missgendered constantly, I had a few homophobic comments, I didn't feel comfortable 'coming out' every week because I didn't know how accepting they'd be, and them all being physically taller and stronger than me - not only did I hardly get a game but I also felt like a burden the whole time. And yeh, "not all" of the people there were bad, infact most were very welcoming and kind, it was just the 1/10 who were dicks and made me feel unsafe. In an LGBT+ group this behaviour would not be tolerated, I know I could go and play without having to fear that I'll get verbally abused, and I won't feel like I need to justify myself for playing. I love football and I just want to get a change to play. by BlueSpaceTwink (Tue 29th Jun 2021 3:53pm)
  • put it better than I could have, thank you! by BlueSpaceTwink (Tue 29th Jun 2021 3:58pm)
  • not wanting to do leauge football. just want a kick about. by BlueSpaceTwink (Wed 30th Jun 2021 10:38pm)
  • no offence ment by it, hope it wasn't read in an insulting way. I think it's a term more used in Queer circles than I realised. Just ment non Queer folks. by BlueSpaceTwink (Wed 30th Jun 2021 10:35pm)

  • my mum is a vegetarian celiac, we used to really struggle for options. but recently what we've started to do is call up in advance and say "hey. I'm happy to eat whatever as long as there's no gluten or meat in it", our experience so far has been really positive - it seems chefs enjoy a bit of a challenge and to make something new. had some really tasty stuff. But as a rule of thumb. Indian is great, they tend to use Gram flower which is made from chickpeas and has no gluten in it. have alot of good options usually! by BlueSpaceTwink (Tue 14th Sep 2021 6:03pm)
