  • What a spectacular scene by ButteryBiscuitBase10 (Sat 20th Jul 2019 11:16pm)
  • Primary and Secondary education would be the target. I remember people in primary school either didn't know better, or thought it was acceptable to litter as their parents/peers did it, and by high school it became apparently cool to do it. Infuriating, I know. As sawbonesromeo said, something along the lines of a school-friendly version of how we're absolutely fucking the planet and local wildlife at the same time would hopefully make a bit of a change. But yeah, in some cases it could easily be a whole range of problems, and the litter you see on the street is just a by-product. If someones life isn't going great or they want to 'fuck the system' not sure what can be done about that, because the police certainly wouldn't care. Teach them while they're young, that all the dolphins are definitely going to die if they don't change their ways. by ButteryBiscuitBase10 (Tue 23rd Jun 2020 10:41am)
  • I can't speak for an English lit course, but Strathclyde is highly regarded for STEM subjects and social sciences as it has specialized in these over others. I'm almost certain GU is better for English lit, natural sciences etc. as they focus far more on these subjects as a 'rounded' uni. by ButteryBiscuitBase10 (Mon 26th Oct 2020 12:19am)
  • I live near Parnie street and not saying its due to this van, but fucking hell is it out of control at times. by ButteryBiscuitBase10 (Mon 26th Oct 2020 12:23am)

  • How'd everyone entertain themselves walking to the station without dodging 10 junkies back then? by ButteryBiscuitBase10 (Thu 17th Dec 2020 9:39pm)
  • You can still apply for uni halls - if space remains you have a shot at getting them (and for the sake of socializing I massively recommend getting some uni halls). Living at home can save money but would reduce the time after classes to spend with friends. You could go private halls although I'd avoid Blackfriars. by ButteryBiscuitBase10 (Wed 13th Sep 2023 1:47pm)
