  • Also, comment if you have any ideas of where I could hand them in. It wasn't near any building where I could hand it in... 🤷‍♂️ Do people hand stuff like that into a police station? I'm sure it'd have a serial code that's traceable? by Captain_Isolation (Tue 1st Dec 2020 6:56pm)
  • Thanks! I'll be going for a walk later this week so if I can't find the owner by then, I'll hand them in to a station and update my post by Captain_Isolation (Tue 1st Dec 2020 9:46pm)
  • The best part about this picture by Captain_Isolation (Tue 8th Dec 2020 11:03am)
  • It was a very popular spot around 1 today! It's really not bad, about 200m climb. I had my skis on my back and it took about 1 hour from the road to reach the top. But it flattens out a lot so most people turn around and clip in after the first 30 minutes If you've got a split board I'd recommend going all the way to the Miekl Bin and back along the 2 hills south of this one I found this site very useful http://wintersun.me.uk/scottish-ski-touring/ by Captain_Isolation (Tue 9th Feb 2021 7:31pm)
  • Came to ask the same thing, I can't see them but they were going yesterday too by Captain_Isolation (Sun 7th Mar 2021 1:59pm)
  • I'm trying to do the same thing at the moment but this city hasn't really come out of lockdown yet! Most meetups are still online Have you looked at yoga, language or other classes? With covid, I feel a lot of people are in similar positions It can be hard to talk to strangers but I've met a few people by chatting in somewhere nice like Kelvingrove. I moved from England and was surprised how much everyone here will just chat to anyone who's friendly. I'm getting better at it too If you're up for it and see someone who looks friendly and in an approachable situation, you could straight up say what you said here "hi, I'm new here and trying to meet people, could you recommend any clubs or places I could try?" If that happened to me in the park, I'd try and be the same as when someone asks the same question on Reddit by Captain_Isolation (Mon 19th Jul 2021 12:12pm)
