  • Thank you, thats reassuring to hear! Do you know anything about the job market at the moment? Would it be easy finding something even just to pay the bills for a little while? by Chewerr (Sun 14th Jun 2020 2:22pm)
  • You wouldnt find a 2 bed flat even close to the city for less than 1600 in dublin so everything is thrillingly cheap when thats what youre working with. Thanks mate, will have a look at those areas. by Chewerr (Sun 14th Jun 2020 2:21pm)
  • Sweet man, will hit you up when the numbers go up. If youve any mates who'd play let me know and we can sort something by Chewerr (Thu 29th Jul 2021 12:36pm)

  • Sweet, would love to have you along! The numbers are slowly going up so hopefully we get at least 10 to give it a go. If you know anyone who'd be interested feel free to invite them by Chewerr (Thu 29th Jul 2021 2:06pm)

  • As someone who lived in Dublin their whole lives and has only recently moved to Glasgow (living here just over a year now), Glasgow is a paradise compared to it. Can for sure see Glasgows flaws but if it was a choice between Glasgow and Dublin Im picking Glasgow every single time. by Chewerr (Sun 7th Nov 2021 11:48am)
  • Dont know of any coaches but there is a lot of resources online for self learning which is totally possible. You can book a few hours in a soundproofed practice studio (pirate studios, audio lounge. theres loads more around but ive used these and were both good.) For usually less than a fifteen quid. Vocal warm ups are honestly the best thing you could learn first and that wouldn't even require you to book a studio cos you don't need to be loud for them. I've done some gigs without warm ups a few times and have been left with no voice and a sore throat for days after. by Chewerr (Sat 13th Nov 2021 6:03pm)
  • Rutherglen is three 6 year olds in a trench coat askng for the last draws of your smoke. by Chewerr (Fri 28th Jan 2022 9:01pm)
  • Used to work for them (just left a few months ago). While theyre not a great company to work for (pays shite, managers and HR are arseholes, expect too much of you for as little pay as possible), theyre deffo legit, I worked for Nationwide through them, they also outsourced for a number of other banks such as RBS which I know for a fact. I doubt they could get those contracts if they were scammers. Saying this I never had to show tax returns or bank statements when I started which was in 2020. They have an office on argyle street (could be under Allied International as this is another name for the company), if you cant get in touch with them through email or phone Id go into the office to ask what the deal is. They do have an office in the phillipines (also a legit office who worked alongside us) though so not too sure whats going on there but again as much as I hated worked for them, I dont think they are in the business of scamming and were fairly legit as a whole. Give me a shout if you have any other questions and Ill see if I can help. by Chewerr (Fri 8th Jul 2022 10:20pm)
  • Ivd lived essentially across the road from there for about 2 years now and haven't ran into or seen any trouble. Great transport links and all the shops you could need. Its busy, you'll hear sirens going by day and night, but it's fine. Rutherglens bad if you're afraid of people who wear tracksuits, but as I said I havent seen much trouble. There are a few charecters who'll walk the main street and you'll hear some drunks screaming walking down the road when the pubs close but you'll get that in a lot of places and I feel the trade off for the location is worth it. I don't want to move any time soon and will potentially look at buying somewhere there when Im ready. Cant say anything for that road itself but again, the area around it is fine. Only thing I will say is those orange wankers have their silly little walks frequently enough (maybe once a month, or feels like it anyway) and its a pain in the hole to listen to them at 9 o clock in the morning on a saturday. by Chewerr (Mon 11th Jul 2022 6:18pm)
  • Because Im not from Glasgow this came as a funny shock to me. A woman in her 70s at least chatting to her mate on the main street with a tiny dog. "I'm just taking this cunt a walk then I'm off haim" Was just the fact that she called this tiny dog a cunt cracked me up. Now I know every person and creature in Glasgow is a cunt so its not a shock anymore but at the time it was hilarious. by Chewerr (Wed 20th Jul 2022 5:32pm)
