  • TBH I don't know, it wasnt until after I served them that my mate stated they were out of it. I haven't been around drugs so I don't really know what I'm looking for. by DasUberMan (Mon 9th Sep 2019 10:15am)

  • I went to my GP after my psoriasis got on top of me and I had a bit of a breakdown in work. All he kept asking was if I felt suicidal. I didn't, but felt pressured to say I did. He put me on some anti-depressant that I can't remember the name of. I was on it for 2 weeks and decided I didn't want to be on it because I felt worse. I wanted to just speak to someone and have my problem acknowledged. I don't think the GP's are really that well equipped for mental health issues. It definitely felt like a box-checking exercise. by DasUberMan (Mon 23rd Sep 2019 6:35pm)
  • In the same boat. Been off work since Wednesday. 🤢 by DasUberMan (Fri 4th Oct 2019 3:28pm)
  • Know what absolutely pisses me off? The surge of the massive crowd to the barriers at Central when your train is updated on the boards. No queueing, just an absolute mass rabble of humanity. by DasUberMan (Fri 29th Nov 2019 4:40pm)
  • I had the exact same experience. Except the door was unlocked so the guy walked in twice. First time we put it down to a genuine mistake and let him on his way, the second time my mate, who is fucking massive, picked him up by his collar and waist and physically threw him into the lift. Good times. by DasUberMan (Sat 30th Nov 2019 1:31am)
  • I'm not really that clued up on the old graffiti but I noticed that the 'Welcome to Glasgow' on the upper level of Central Station has been absolutely obliterated. by DasUberMan (Sat 11th Jan 2020 7:33pm)
  • Tremendous. by DasUberMan (Sat 29th Feb 2020 11:24pm)
  • Doesn't ring a bell, I'll run it by him and see if that's the one he's thinking about. Edit. It was, thanks so much friend. by DasUberMan (Sat 16th Jan 2021 1:11am)
  • Sounds like you've just started one mate. by DasUberMan (Sat 6th Feb 2021 1:22pm)
  • I was just talking to the wife about the 'Glasgow Effect' yesterday. I turned 36 yesterday and a bit of a mental somersault at the thought of being halfway through my expected life simply because I was born and raised in Glasgow. Her response, "Well you live in Motherwell now, so no need to worry." I love that woman. by DasUberMan (Fri 26th Feb 2021 11:19am)
  • Hopefully I'll dodge the murderers before I can make it back to Glasgow in a few years time. 🤞 by DasUberMan (Fri 26th Feb 2021 10:49pm)
  • My sister got me my vaccine after a cancellation. She works for the NHS in one of the vaccination centres. So it is possible, I think you can call up and ask. I should have got mine pretty early on but never recieved my letter. Once I had been to get it, my mums neighbour popped my letter through the door saying it was in amongst their mail. by DasUberMan (Mon 12th Apr 2021 6:47pm)
  • I bought my mum UB40 tickets for the Barras in May and recieved physical tickets in the post. I think they came from that ticket place under Central. by DasUberMan (Tue 11th Jan 2022 12:53pm)
  • I can 100% empathise with this situation. I live out in Motherwell and for the past 2 Fridays the 'young team' have set fire to different parts of equipment in the kids play park in Calder Park where I walk my dog. The first Friday, two of the little rats actually sat in the wee climbing frame and watched their handiwork while the fire brigade came to put it out. Last night while I was walking the dog, I watched four boys no older than 13 just stand chipping stones at someone's windows from the park. The kids definitely feel a lot more feral and I think it's probably a result of the past few years, not to gove them excuses. by DasUberMan (Sun 18th Sep 2022 10:05pm)
