  • So they’ll tell you. A licence to boss the world about is what it seems like to me. One or two Njoy the power a bit much by EstablishmentDue2102 (Sun 6th Jun 2021 11:22am)
  • True, but if it still disappears despite public stumping up 200k there’ll be a q or two about the wisdom of havin him there at all by EstablishmentDue2102 (Sun 6th Jun 2021 11:31am)

  • No hurry tho, could just book event and DJs once restriction lifted, but that odd demand for tickets things for events that might happen , it’s definitely not deterred folk anyway by EstablishmentDue2102 (Sat 17th Jul 2021 6:49pm)

  • I totally understand why people are so hopeful, I’m exactly the same, but is there not a bit of jumping the gun even planning this kind of thing atm? There’s a distinct diff between having a football stadium a fifth full and a sweaty rave tent. Look at state of the Netherlands by going too soon, England doing the same, Wembley should never have had 60k in it, nightclubs got disaster looming with this refusal to do passports. And of course the tickets already bought for these gigs will mostly be held onto not refunded, techno crowd is loyal, so there’s a lot of events raking it in knowing the risk of ongoing cancellation is high. Should we even be promising just now that the event will happen next March? Got the luxury of guessing that. by EstablishmentDue2102 (Thu 22nd Jul 2021 4:28pm)
  • Yeah that’s an odd choice of new date eh? It’s like they’ve tippled that it really needs to postpone till next summer but haven’t had the heart to admit it...or risk that people take refunds cos it’s too far away? Slam also got Riverside in Sept, in the same Glasgow that was in L3 longer than anywhere else in Scotland and up to v recently. So that’s 2 huge events potentially no happening but all these people bought tickets and organisers keep the cash until it can finally happen? People choosing to do it though. by EstablishmentDue2102 (Thu 22nd Jul 2021 8:41pm)
