Interests:

  • Well you've addressed at least 2 of my interests (nature and history). I like to go on hikes typically. But lockdown has taught me a big lesson on needing to be more outgoing. So happy to keep an eye on this by EveningZealousideal6 (Fri 18th Jun 2021 4:18pm)
  • It's something I'd recommend training for. You can do it in 2 days, but recommended for about 5-7 days providing you have a route, your stops, and your supplies in check you'll be fine. It's anywhere between 12 and 25 miles a day generally though rough terrain, there are paths though, and up hill. I'd suggest preparing beforehand. by EveningZealousideal6 (Tue 6th Jul 2021 11:28pm)
  • I'll give that a shot next time I'm down that neck of the woods. Thank you very much by EveningZealousideal6 (Mon 2nd Aug 2021 12:25pm)
  • Oh that's cool! I didn't know that, thank you! by EveningZealousideal6 (Mon 2nd Aug 2021 12:25pm)
  • You sure it's not jammy? by EveningZealousideal6 (Tue 24th Aug 2021 1:38pm)
  • Haha just reading it aloud and I'm like Gemmy? Maybe they misheard jammy by EveningZealousideal6 (Tue 24th Aug 2021 4:03pm)
  • Mostly on-street parking. The car park is a good size. Just be there early enough. by EveningZealousideal6 (Sun 5th Sep 2021 11:30am)

  • Glasgow to Bishopton, but not nearly as far as EK I don't think by EveningZealousideal6 (Thu 28th Oct 2021 3:29pm)
  • I was about 15 miles, but I think EK is further, but not by much I don't imagine, but not sure, only ever driven to EK as designated driver 😂 by EveningZealousideal6 (Thu 28th Oct 2021 11:29pm)
  • Arta, especially a Thursday. I once saw David Attenborough commentate on the cougars. by EveningZealousideal6 (Tue 16th Nov 2021 6:49pm)
  • Not going to repeat patter.. but cougars, you can chuck a a lamb in there and you'll get bones back before the first song finishes. by EveningZealousideal6 (Wed 17th Nov 2021 12:16am)
  • I can't say I've had many old blokes slobbering over me. But it is a good venue regardless. by EveningZealousideal6 (Wed 17th Nov 2021 12:29am)

  • Nippon kitchen does banging sushi. I'm sure their chicken stuff is halal too. I discovered off auntie that caviar is haram which is balls. Aside from that, akbars is a solid winner for desi food. Pickled ginger in the west end is decent too for Asian food, not a far walk from the subway by EveningZealousideal6 (Tue 1st Mar 2022 12:49pm)
  • The Edinburgh tailoring company is excellent. They have an office located in Glasgow. Fellas name is Chris, knows his stuff. by EveningZealousideal6 (Wed 25th May 2022 8:48am)
  • Across from the barralands there's a bar called The Gate, that's decent. The bon accord also has a lot of good local drinks. Has a name for having the largest supply. but the piper and pot still are the most popular. by EveningZealousideal6 (Fri 16th Sep 2022 9:38pm)
  • Glasgow is very wheelchair accessible. There's always commission for it. So anything anyone else would do you should be able to do without hesitation by EveningZealousideal6 (Sat 4th Feb 2023 10:57am)
  • How dare you assume! I've been wheelchair-bound for the last 10 years. And I find Glasgow quite accessible. If you can't find it ask. by EveningZealousideal6 (Sat 4th Feb 2023 11:35am)
  • You are so far from the truth here. If you don't ask you don't get, simply put. But just because it's not obvious, does not mean it's inaccessible. I've never struggled getting around town and to places I need to be for work, leisure, or shopping. by EveningZealousideal6 (Tue 7th Feb 2023 8:58pm)
  • See a lot of people mentioning Baked, definitely need to check that out. But paesano is a safe bet in my opinion. Personally prefer Miller St. over the west end one by EveningZealousideal6 (Fri 10th Feb 2023 6:00pm)
  • I like Vroni's for wine. But there's also a wine bar at merchant city. It's decent. by EveningZealousideal6 (Fri 7th Apr 2023 1:00pm)
  • You're from Bish too? don't see many folk from home. Buy it could've been a septic tank. But probably just am old water mains hatch or something by EveningZealousideal6 (Mon 10th Apr 2023 7:01pm)
  • Fish and chips, as well as a lot of ice cream places, like Nardini's, came to Ireland first then onto Scotland with Italian immigrants... But not sure why it was fish and chips they did. Perhaps because it was cheap, desirable, and easy to produce. by EveningZealousideal6 (Mon 17th Apr 2023 12:35am)

  • They specialise in tropical disease and medicine - it's just a post-treatment checkup to ensure the antibiotics cleared the parasites from your system. They'd be the most equipped to do so. by EveningZealousideal6 (Fri 4th Aug 2023 1:52pm)

  • Nando's, I mean it's just chicken. There' nothing remotely impressive about it. Not to mention spending like £50 to go and collect my own cutlery and fill my own drinks, and they still ask for a tip. by EveningZealousideal6 (Thu 14th Sep 2023 9:42pm)
