  • Hello fellow Warhammer enthusiast! I think your best shout to find a game of Warhammer is to look for a wargaming club in your local area. There will be a bunch of people there and you'll easily be able to get a game! Alternatively you can see if there's gaming spaces that will have all the tables and terrain like in games workshop stores that you pay a small fee for your time. Only problem is this will require you to already know someone else to meet up for a game. Admittedly I haven't sought out any table top gaming clubs since I've been living in Glasgow but when I lived near Edinburgh I used to go to Edinburgh and Lothian gamers and Red dice games which were both great. by FormerCrow97 (Sun 29th May 2022 2:17pm)
  • Interesting, I usually go for 1 nice pint to then go onto Tennant's for the rest of the evening as I'm getting diminishing returns from my taste buds. by FormerCrow97 (Tue 31st May 2022 12:02am)
  • Time to deploy the American beer joke: Q - What do American beers and sex in a canoe have in common? A - they're both fucking close to water! by FormerCrow97 (Tue 31st May 2022 12:00am)

  • It's so annoying, there's some really great bits of cycle lane, but they only last for a few hundred metres then you're back in the mix with traffic. My favourite so far is down the side of Lidl off Maryhill road which has a beautiful 2 lane cycle path for 50m! by FormerCrow97 (Tue 31st May 2022 12:17am)

  • Obviously this will be highly variable but here's a ball park for you. I live in a mid sized 2 bed west end tenement here's the AVG utilities over the last few months (bear in mind I've not used the heating and the price of gas and electric is about to go up in October). Gas and electric £60-75 Council tax (includes water) £105 WiFi £25 Total: ~£200 (split between 2 though) You'll most likely use less electricity and you will get a discount on your council tax as you will (presumably) living alone EDIT: If you're a full time student you will be exempt from council tax by FormerCrow97 (Tue 23rd Aug 2022 8:00pm)

  • I think it will have something to do with the fact that every single UK bank (particularly Barclays and evidently HSBC) invests their customers money in oil and gas. Edit: HSBC also knowingly handles cartel money and suffers no consequences by FormerCrow97 (Thu 22nd Sep 2022 3:38pm)
  • Better question how are Barclays and HSBC allowed to invest their customers money into killing the planet? by FormerCrow97 (Thu 22nd Sep 2022 3:41pm)
