  • Retail worker here. It's still "mandatory" by law, but more and more people I see every day are ditching them and there's no real repercussions that I've witnessed. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Tue 29th Mar 2022 5:58pm)
  • So you're saying people should do more? by FourSpaghettiMeals (Sat 2nd Apr 2022 5:50pm)
  • I just don't understand what you're actually complaining about. On the one hand you seem mad that people think there's an issue but you also seem mad that they're not doing enough to stand up to problems? by FourSpaghettiMeals (Sat 2nd Apr 2022 8:51pm)
  • Came here to say this. Its great! by FourSpaghettiMeals (Sat 30th Apr 2022 10:56am)
  • Not a park but Sighthill Cemetery is great for a bit of walking/exploring. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Sat 30th Apr 2022 9:16pm)
  • There's a Guy & Beard at the Fort. Most of the shops there are open to 10pm, maybe give them a call? by FourSpaghettiMeals (Mon 6th Jun 2022 5:39pm)
  • Paesano pizza is bang average and barely top 5 Glasgow pizza restaurants. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Thu 21st Jul 2022 9:48pm)
  • Perhaps I should rephrase, does anyone know WHY these two fine gentlemen felt the need to engage in fisticuffs? by FourSpaghettiMeals (Fri 2nd Sep 2022 8:34am)
  • First support act on at 8pm, Kevin on about 5 to 9. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Fri 2nd Sep 2022 9:19am)
  • It did seem a tad unusual but given there's 13,000 people and most of them want to have time to get a few drinks in it worked out well. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Fri 2nd Sep 2022 8:03pm)
  • Funny enough I'm going to see Stanhope this month and heard a story that at one of his Glasgow gigs there were SEVERAL fist fights in the one show. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Fri 2nd Sep 2022 8:05pm)
  • Absolutely love Daniel Sloss and aye, this makes a lot of sense. I actually used to work in the bars at the Hydro and it seems the more Glaswegian a show is, the cuntier the audience. A Still Game Live crowd is like pulling together all the worst aunties, uncles and cousins you could ever imagine. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Sat 3rd Sep 2022 8:50am)
  • I don't suppose you're under 18, are you? I believe under 18s can still be paid less than minimum wage unless there's been a change in the last few years. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Mon 5th Sep 2022 8:16pm)
  • Met a fair few. Peter Capaldi in passing was a gent but was just a quick hello, selfie, goodbye. Was very polite though. Boaby the Barman (Gavin Mitchell) and Greg Hemphill were both lovely (separate, random meetings). Not had a bad experience with a famous Scot that I can think of, but I did meet Lewis Capaldi right as he was taking off. Was lovely when I met him, then seen some photos of him later the same night where he looked pretty fed up of taking photos haha! Don't blame him though. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Sun 11th Sep 2022 7:32pm)
  • It confuses me how Uber Eats (generally) charges way more fees than Just Eat and THEN gives you the option to tip your driver, whereas Just Eat is comparatively a little bit cheaper but has no option to add a tip. Annoying as I rarely carry cash. I generally take the point of view that if I can spare the cash it costs to order in (or go out for dinner), I can spare a few quid to help someone out. I DO think that wages should be higher and the hospitality industry is wildly underpaid considering how popular it is and essential to the UK Economy, but if you want wages to be higher, support protests and sign petitions. Not tipping will make fuck all difference on that side of things. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Sun 23rd Oct 2022 9:28pm)
  • The fuckin' ABC. A million times over. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Fri 4th Nov 2022 10:41pm)
  • Bucks Bar for a (big) lunch followed by Tantrum Doughnuts for a sweet treat is a regular for me. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Mon 14th Nov 2022 1:28pm)
  • Pizza Punks is far superior to Paesano in my opinion. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Tue 22nd Nov 2022 3:37pm)
  • He's no planning to *drink* the Kelvin, Boaby. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Fri 13th Jan 2023 4:28pm)
  • Barely anyone I know has been to Viva Brazil and its excellent. Paesano is decent but the hype surrounding it doesn't match the quality. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Fri 15th Sep 2023 8:52pm)
  • People on this sub love to shit on things that are popular, but Buck's Bar is class. The one at Trongate being my favourite. Nashville Hot Chicken particularly. by FourSpaghettiMeals (Wed 18th Oct 2023 9:43pm)
