  • Hi, firstly you might want to give a call to breathing space, mind or the Samaritans. They may not be able to help your finances but might be able to you through the day. If your mental health is so poor, you are thinking about ending it, you can self refer to one of the mental health teams in Glasgow. I only know a few but there is one in Easterhouse (Auchinlea) and another at Stobhill mental health campus. Hopefully they can help. Sorry, this took a while to get back to you. Hope things are better from when you posted it. PS, presumably you have already spoken to citizens advice about benefits? by FudgeBeautiful1759 (Tue 27th Sep 2022 6:58am)

  • I can vouch for this. Every year I suffered from Seasonal Affective Disorder, with no relief from SAD lamps. 5 years ago I started talking Vit D and no longer get depressed in winter. by FudgeBeautiful1759 (Mon 3rd Oct 2022 11:12am)
  • Everyone is different but taking a daily Vit D has completely removed my SAD. I got rid of my lamps. Adding one in combination with your light, might improve your symptoms by FudgeBeautiful1759 (Mon 3rd Oct 2022 11:20am)

  • Sounds like Karen is using pregnancy as an excuse. And as every auld bastard will tell you, babies need to be raised in noisy environments. by FudgeBeautiful1759 (Sun 16th Oct 2022 10:36am)
  • Got to agree! Any motorist of a few months or more, who claims they have never broken the speed limit at some point is a liar or has a black box fitted. Of course there are degrees of speeding from a few miles an hour over, to audi driver. Either way, they still speed by FudgeBeautiful1759 (Wed 19th Oct 2022 6:38pm)
  • I've always thought when the overhead gantries on the motorway put up a temporary limit of 30 or 40 that if someone actually did that, a terrible pile up would happen. by FudgeBeautiful1759 (Wed 19th Oct 2022 6:51pm)
  • Yeah, check your bank account. I'm with SP too. They paid the cash directly to me rather than take it off the bill. by FudgeBeautiful1759 (Thu 20th Oct 2022 9:21am)
