  • I should realise that internet people don't know I use the word fantastic for everything. And normally in a joking way. But in all seriousness any shop I go to that stuff isn't in a fridge. also I doubt they're meant to use the smart water fridge. lighten up! by Jewels1327 (Fri 30th Aug 2019 2:13pm)
  • DELETED I laughed far too much at this... by Jewels1327 (Sun 17th Nov 2019 2:04pm)
  • REMOVED done! filled this in as I feel it's super relevant to me. I work long hard weeks but tend to do all things related to cooking for my husband and I other than dishes. I used to love cooking now I dont have the energy to plan and prep all the time, so end up having fast food often it's wreaking havoc on my spare tyre. by Jewels1327 (Wed 20th Nov 2019 11:05am)

  • Aw that's lovely! I'll need to remember to try it :) by Jewels1327 (Thu 19th Dec 2019 3:20pm)
  • Done both. Hopefully someone will come forward to say he's theirs. by Jewels1327 (Sat 4th Jan 2020 3:34pm)
  • That would mean I'd need to catch him. I went outside with food to bargain with him and this is how i know he's deaf, he had no idea i was following him with a tin of food. I've put it outside with the hopes he comes back, but it's been a few hours and it's getting dark. So the foxes will probably get it by Jewels1327 (Sat 4th Jan 2020 3:59pm)
  • Ha no worries. Hope he comes back for the tin. Might just start leaving a bowl out each morning to see if he appears. by Jewels1327 (Sat 4th Jan 2020 4:18pm)
  • A few years?! I'm also in the burnside area, so probably the same cat. I will phone tomorrow. Thanks by Jewels1327 (Sat 4th Jan 2020 11:29pm)
  • Oh wow never thought of it that way! by Jewels1327 (Tue 7th Jan 2020 6:37pm)
  • It's always possible they've confused the rail symbol with a swastika? Wouldn't surprise me. by Jewels1327 (Wed 12th Feb 2020 12:20pm)
  • I had to do some survey work in the Clune Park estate. Probably shouldn't go into details for legal reasons but it was one of the grimmest places I've been in. And some of the properties are private landlords renting to these poor souls... by Jewels1327 (Thu 20th Feb 2020 9:54pm)
  • I think his accent is bang on, but as he's in tv his annunciation of everything is far better than your average Glaswegian. But I wouldn't worry about it! A couple months here and you'll have picked up the accent no bother. As for getting hired, I don't believe anyone would not hire you sure to bring foreign! If anything if you apply to wine shops your exotic heritage might work in your favour :p by Jewels1327 (Sun 5th Apr 2020 8:21am)
  • I'm not 100% sure of the legality here, but if this area is communal and other people's flats have windows looking out onto it, there is every chance some nosey bastard will report you. It's up to you if you want to chance it. I doubt you would be fined probably just moved along. Would still suck though It would be very unlucky, I know most people wouldn't bother reporting you, but for every 100 people who wouldn't there is one old Isa who would. by Jewels1327 (Wed 20th May 2020 6:27am)
  • Hmm. Put it that way that sounds right, but the other side is if everyone was to use it that would surely be a large gathering? I really don't know lol. by Jewels1327 (Wed 20th May 2020 7:00am)
  • Ditto! by Jewels1327 (Fri 22nd May 2020 8:03am)
  • Can you bring me one? by Jewels1327 (Fri 5th Jun 2020 4:53pm)
  • Wow by Jewels1327 (Sat 13th Jun 2020 10:53am)
  • I really agree with this. You shouldn't just tear down the bad things of the past and chuck em in the clyde. They still happened. A plaque stating the good and bad with the dates is educational and more respectful of what really happened. by Jewels1327 (Sat 13th Jun 2020 11:02am)
  • Great idea, wish you the best of luck! Kids like animals, we all know the impact it had when that turtle got the straw pulled out it's nose! You could maybe use similar shock tactics, injured birds or squirrels? Maybe not for primary school kids but should be ok for secondary? by Jewels1327 (Mon 22nd Jun 2020 7:36pm)
  • Would be cool if lady bug guy had Reddit. He always acted as if he knew me well even if it had been months since I'd been in. Guess it turns out I wasn't special 🤣 by Jewels1327 (Sun 9th Aug 2020 5:29pm)

  • If you are staying in Glasgow Cathkin braes defo. Highest point in the city There's a car park then is a short walk to a bit that I think is called Queen Mary's seat Edit: link added https://www.munrosandotherwalks.com/2019/09/queen-marys-seat.html?m=1 by Jewels1327 (Mon 5th Jul 2021 8:36pm)

  • It's not irresponsible to go to a festival, absolutely not. It's irresponsible to go without being a) double jabbed, b) immune after recently having it c) having a negative test result It's also irresponsible to go absolutely HAM at it then go back to work/visiting family without waiting a couple days and at the very least doing lat flows. Basically as long as you are sensible and mitigate the risk, you should be able to go out and enjoy yourself after a long period of extreme limitation. by Jewels1327 (Sat 11th Sep 2021 10:16am)
  • Have you seen the cost of a roomba vac and mop model?! It's like over £1000 I'd love one but F me by Jewels1327 (Sun 12th Dec 2021 5:53pm)
  • Aye I figured there would be others, i happened to look the other day as a possible Christmas present and when i saw the price of the roomba i noped out pretty quick Would happily take recommendations of another brand I've got a cat who sheds an unholy amount and a wee auto hoover would be amazing by Jewels1327 (Sun 12th Dec 2021 5:58pm)

  • Some good advice, if you get into an argument on the internet, don't hunker down and just go hell for leather and stick to your guns. Laugh it off and say 'ok whatever' Don't get worked up. No point. by Jewels1327 (Thu 6th Oct 2022 9:05pm)
  • I say Jeye D sports. No idea who PJ and Duncan are I would never say pass the jay? What does that even mean? I assume you mean orange juice? I'd say pass the juice. Can't argue against Michael jay fox I guess. But that's intuitive. I will continue to call it Jeye the rest of my life. I'm 32 and hasn't hindered me so far by Jewels1327 (Fri 18th Nov 2022 12:00pm)
  • Lol i would also just say pass the joint. Pass the j is surely an americanism and I'm no an American! Edit: also can't stand ant and dec no idea why they are still on tv so definitely don't need to know about other names for them by Jewels1327 (Fri 18th Nov 2022 12:08pm)
  • Lol whoops Sue me thinking oj cause I'm thirsty af right now by Jewels1327 (Fri 18th Nov 2022 12:10pm)
  • Indeed by Jewels1327 (Fri 18th Nov 2022 1:03pm)
  • I'd say you're more in the position for a cat. Some people say they aren't "cat people" but honestly that's just cause they don't know how great cats can be! I say that through gritted teeth as my little demon is currently watching every fork full of dinner I eat purring wildly as if that will convince me to share But I love her like nothing else, and I had wanted a dog but ended up adopting a cat purely for the logistics that you have, and have no regrets. Sure I'd also love a dog but will need to wait till I'm retired probably! by Jewels1327 (Wed 21st Dec 2022 6:46pm)
  • I do completely agree with you, that you shouldn't victim blame and that drivers need to be aware of their surroundings But as a driver I had a scary experience, where driving home from work in the middle of winter in the pitch black, with rain that was absolutely bouncing, so my wipers were on full blast, I had a green light for turning right off of a main road onto a smaller yet still busy road Well I indicated (even though I was in the right turn filter lane I still always indicate) and made the turn, but as my vision through my front window rounded there were two girls dressed all in dark clothes in the middle of the road! I hadn't seen them through my side window due to the rain streaming down it and it was only when my front window was facing them did I see them so I did an emergency stop in the middle of this junction. they backed up to let me pass while shouting abuse at me. Obviously they had a fright but so did I! Since then whenever I walk to work I wear a high Vis vest. Drivers shouldn't make excuses and need to be aware of their surroundings, yes. But on dark wet nights it is more dangerous and high Vis just makes things that little bit safer. by Jewels1327 (Thu 9th Feb 2023 6:59pm)
  • I had a terrible meal there right before this hit the news last year. Like almost 0 of it was enjoyable, and the server (he might have been new he was very young) was really bad at understanding English. I was brought 3 wrong drinks and still charged for all three when I tried to tell him that wasn't what I ordered The manager sorted it tbf at the end but I still had to pay for the pint of lager I got instead of a white wine lol by Jewels1327 (Tue 6th Jun 2023 8:58pm)
  • Yeah i was bummed cause I'd heard so many good reviews and was really looking forward to trying it! The server was very courteous, he just didn't have a clue what I was saying and rather than get help just kept bringing random drinks lol by Jewels1327 (Wed 7th Jun 2023 10:32am)
  • I've had the south Indian and the donner Both were amazing. Need to go back at some point by Jewels1327 (Thu 29th Jun 2023 7:38pm)

  • Is it possible it's as far as the campsies and just that bright? by Jewels1327 (Mon 11th Dec 2023 8:43pm)
  • 🤣 hilarious. But unfortunately wrong direction, otherwise I'd agree by Jewels1327 (Mon 11th Dec 2023 8:53pm)
  • Thank goodness by Jewels1327 (Mon 11th Dec 2023 9:12pm)
  • I responded to you but managed to f*** it and it's another comment lol sorry by Jewels1327 (Mon 11th Dec 2023 9:18pm)
  • Nah it's a very fixed massive light source definitely on the ground It's weird cause with gigs n stuff the light might move but this is a solid spotlight Is there a prison out that way and they have a spotlight on? by Jewels1327 (Mon 11th Dec 2023 9:17pm)
  • Possible, but Hogganfield is too north and also possibly too close for this. Also if Hogganfield has been going a while I would have noticed this light before but, been in this house years by Jewels1327 (Mon 11th Dec 2023 9:15pm)
  • I definitely am, but it's not the right direction. From where I am in the south west it's looking towards easterhouse, stepps, kirkintilloch, but the light looks far enough away to be by Jewels1327 (Mon 11th Dec 2023 9:33pm)
  • Oooft your yield must be astonishing. Good luck with explaining that when the law comes chappin by Jewels1327 (Mon 11th Dec 2023 10:09pm)
  • I'm right next to top golf, so definitely not that. I don't think the picture does it justice how bright this is The light is obviously huge and miles away. Even top golf which is bright f isn't making this huge light 25 miles away by Jewels1327 (Mon 11th Dec 2023 10:19pm)
  • I think with your proximity to where I'm estimating the light source, and you're experience in seeing this before, it's definetly either the railway depot or the prison I'm going to say with the intensity of the light, I'm 11 miles away, it must be the prison spotlight. So thank you by Jewels1327 (Mon 11th Dec 2023 10:15pm)
