  • I'm under the impression that the cleaner of our tenement pours a couple of liters of pure bleach on the floor and then mops it around a bit and then fucks off again. Takes about an hour to dry, not sure how much we pay him. But yeah cobwebs everywhere, but at least we know the floor is disinfected. by KONING_WILLEM (Wed 31st Aug 2022 9:35pm)

  • Friend of mine has an electric car I think it takes him 30 minutes to get up to 80% filled when it's quite empty, after that it slows down a bit, I think he said like an hour for 95% or so. But that is with the powerful chargers. I think what his system is that he goes to a nearby supermarket where there is a charger and charges it weekly while he is out shopping, or goes for lunch nearby. So quite convenient if you have a set-up like that nearby. by KONING_WILLEM (Sat 3rd Sep 2022 10:48am)
  • Are there no other jobs that are closer to you. This can't be too good for you :/ by KONING_WILLEM (Sun 11th Sep 2022 12:19am)
  • I was with you until that one, nothing nicer than having a nice pint and watching the river pass by. Though I will admit the non-outside part sucks. by KONING_WILLEM (Thu 15th Sep 2022 10:54pm)

  • Not to be rude but this is not a good plan. Stay in Scandinavia with free education, higher wages and a just as shitty housing market. You don't want to be a) paying a shitton for education in Scotland and b) having to pay about 5k for a working visa every 2 years in a field which will not be that high paying here. Scotland while it's a beautiful country is not a good country to escape to. by KONING_WILLEM (Mon 3rd Oct 2022 9:12pm)
  • Still not sure if that is worth the thousands they'll have to pay in visa and for their education, if they want to live abroad would suggest they go to Germany/Netherlands or even another country in Scandinavia. by KONING_WILLEM (Tue 4th Oct 2022 5:03pm)
