  • You can find £3.60 one way tickets on the Megabus website by Kathizima (Tue 29th Sep 2020 11:18am)
  • Had no problems with them at all. They did really ask for a lot of information, but I I thought that this was due to us not having any credit history in the UK. The only "bad" thing that I remember is that we had to call them once in order for them to forward us some e-mails that they thought they had already sent us. by Kathizima (Mon 5th Oct 2020 10:27pm)
  • Block 9 gym in Blantyre and Hostile Strength in Motherwell by Kathizima (Wed 28th Oct 2020 12:13pm)
  • Message them on Facebook to set you up. It's 24/7 access with a fob system in place. Absolutely amazing gym and you can make friends for sure. by Kathizima (Wed 28th Oct 2020 8:35pm)
  • Oh yeah! The prices have really shot up by Kathizima (Fri 20th Nov 2020 10:29am)

  • A friend of mine is a drummer and he rents a space near city centre with a few other musicians and they made a schedule for what day each one would practice. Around £100 a month I think. by Kathizima (Wed 20th Jan 2021 7:52pm)
  • Adding to that, you can draw the areas and apply the criteria (price, bedrooms etc) that you are interested in and set an alert on Rightmove to receive an email alert immediately when something new comes up. That's how we found our first rental when we moved from abroad. by Kathizima (Mon 22nd Feb 2021 10:24am)
  • What's the road surface from Old Kilpatrick to Loch Humphrey? I was thinking of cycling there but I only got a bike with skinny tyres. by Kathizima (Thu 18th Mar 2021 9:53pm)
  • You really need to strengthen and stretch your glutes and hips. Helps a ton by Kathizima (Fri 9th Apr 2021 6:45pm)

  • You can't present the free ones from NHS, you need a fit to fly one that has your passport number on it. I did the one from Edinburgh walk up center for £50. It's one of the cheapest if not the cheapest one. Edit: they email you the fit to fly certificate 15'-30' after the test. by Kathizima (Wed 7th Jul 2021 7:05pm)
  • Yeah there is something similar in Glasgow. You should check if Spain accepts anti gen tests (rapid), because some countries only accept the PCR ones that take 24-48h to get the results. Have a nice trip! by Kathizima (Wed 7th Jul 2021 7:55pm)
  • Komoot is a really nice app for route planning and ideas. by Kathizima (Wed 14th Jul 2021 7:33pm)
  • Have a look here: [Strathclyde League](https://www.slba.org.uk/). There are 4 divisions for men. 1 being the better teams, 4 being the more amateur. Choose a team, find them on Facebook, web etc and send them a message to see if they need players, where and how much they train, what their expectations are etc. 🙂 by Kathizima (Thu 23rd Sep 2021 1:37am)

  • Road tax is for CO2 emissions only. That's why electric vehicles don't pay road tax. And if you wonder, everyone that pays council tax and income tax pays for road maintenance even if they don't own a car. by Kathizima (Mon 6th Dec 2021 9:51pm)

  • I use shadow weather and find it pretty accurate. You can also use the data from dark sky instead of the shadow weather one. I find that the hourly forecast is 90% of the time accurate. Bear in mind that no app or weather forecast is going to be accurate in Scotland more than 12h in the future. by Kathizima (Sat 21st May 2022 7:59am)

  • Halloumi might be tasty, I don't know. But it is definitely not authentic Greek food. Source: I'm Greek. by Kathizima (Tue 18th Apr 2023 7:46pm)

  • For the people saying how come my usual spotless establishment is in the red and the filthy place is not there, there is a simple explanation. There are some things that are considered a critical fail with an EHO visit. For example, if one member of staff has not done or even renewed their food hygiene training, which has to be done yearly btw, that's an auto fail. It's really easy for things like that to get missed. by Kathizima (Wed 17th May 2023 7:54pm)
