  • Hello, I’m 24F and have just moved back to Glasgow and struggling with feeling super lonely too but I also studied animation and now work as a motion designer! by Latter_Safe_1012 (Thu 5th Nov 2020 8:23pm)
  • Omg yes she did have strangely hair, told me her name but I can’t remember it. Told me she needed money for a hostel, at first I said no and then panicked and couldn’t find change so gave her a tenner by Latter_Safe_1012 (Sat 21st Nov 2020 10:52pm)
  • I moved to Edinburgh from Glasgow for art school when I finished high school and loved it. Was the best thing I ever did. It was the perfect amount of distance to feel like I was living in a completely new place and had some freedom, with the safety net of knowing it was only a hour or so train journey if I ever felt homesick. So I’d imagine Dundee would feel the same. I knew a lot of people who had moved from other areas in Scotland, and although it’s a shorter move than other more international students, it still feels terrifying. If it’s DJCAD you’re applying to, it’s a great art school with people from all over so most people will be in the same boat as you are. You’ll be absolutely fine honestly! I agree with the other comments about trying to move into student halls for the first year as you’ll be surrounded by people all going through the same experience. by Latter_Safe_1012 (Sat 13th Feb 2021 12:04pm)
