  • Thanks everyone for the replies!! Have decided to go with Mobility Equipment Hire Direct which I think will be fine. I think that the bad reviews were mostly from people using the company for accessible holidays abroad. Equipment hire services seems quite sound and the staff have been very helpful over the phone. by LilXiu (Wed 20th Nov 2019 11:12am)
  • The Book Group is a really cute/quirky/weird tv show set in Glasgow!! I randomly found it while searching for Scottish TV, binge watched it and loved it. Really surprised that nobody I know has seen it. by LilXiu (Mon 18th Jan 2021 8:55pm)

  • Thanks so much for the warning. It's a Mastercraft. Got it as a birthday present a few years ago and still haven't gotten to know it very well so yeah I need to find somebody i can trust. by LilXiu (Fri 26th Mar 2021 11:33am)
  • Well the system is really rigged against us! There are a lot of things that everyone could do that would make a huge difference like keeping a reusable coffee cup, water bottle, shopping bag, food box. Would also be great if we all stopped eating packaged garbage "food". I think that's one of the main problems tbh, the food culture in Glasgow is completely centred around convenience and junk food. by LilXiu (Fri 26th Mar 2021 11:31am)

  • I've believed for a long time that better public transport would help with a lot of the problems in Glasgow. The weather is shitty a lot of the time and you feel trapped if you don't have a car. If people had more freedom to visit friends and family, see different parts of town and have different hobbies > better mental health and sense of community> maybe help with drug/alcoholism and crime down the road by LilXiu (Mon 3rd May 2021 3:34pm)
