  • how do you access the East? I mean...any train stop I should consider? Thanks for the suggestion! by Luainedinburgh (Wed 5th May 2021 8:53am)
  • That's a good idea. Any streets or route over those areas? by Luainedinburgh (Wed 5th May 2021 8:52am)
  • thanks! I'll have a look on maps :) by Luainedinburgh (Wed 5th May 2021 8:51am)
  • Thanks! Renting for the moment, and ideally would like to pay less than we are paying rn (600 for a one bed close to the centre, which to be Edinburgh is not that bad) or at least the same if it admits pets as would like to adopt a cat. I will have a look in different areas! by Luainedinburgh (Wed 5th May 2021 9:23pm)
  • All what you mentioned above but also good access to work and parks/hills. Obviously I don´t know yet where would we be working but good bus/subway links is a must. by Luainedinburgh (Wed 5th May 2021 9:26pm)
  • Thanks a lot! by Luainedinburgh (Wed 5th May 2021 9:57pm)
  • I've checked Citylets, Gumtree, Zoopla and Zone letting. I don't mind the east end, but definitely not paying more than that. Thanks :) by Luainedinburgh (Wed 30th Jun 2021 10:08pm)
  • About the pet situation, how does people have cats then? It's so difficult 😭 by Luainedinburgh (Wed 30th Jun 2021 10:12pm)
  • Thanks for this. We are not that fussed about the west end really, but maybe is not worth the change if we are going to be paying the same and living further. Paisley seems a bit cheaper for what I have seen. by Luainedinburgh (Wed 30th Jun 2021 10:12pm)
  • Thanks so much for your honesty. I don't mind not being on the west end, we also consider the east end or southside. Didn't really think about the students thought!! :( by Luainedinburgh (Wed 30th Jun 2021 10:10pm)
  • Thank you for the advice πŸ™‚ by Luainedinburgh (Wed 30th Jun 2021 10:53pm)
  • Thanks so much for your comments. Is probably not worth moving but will keep and eye on those areas and if we see a good flat be quick! Hope you can have a cat sometime soon ☺️ by Luainedinburgh (Wed 30th Jun 2021 10:53pm)
  • Thanks! Paisley was not bad to be honest, we haven't been in Johnstone but will have a look. by Luainedinburgh (Wed 30th Jun 2021 10:51pm)
  • Yep! I read in a different post that Zone letting usually allows pets of you want to have a look by Luainedinburgh (Thu 1st Jul 2021 6:34am)
  • It looks like that...thanks! by Luainedinburgh (Thu 1st Jul 2021 6:39am)
  • An extra deposit would not be a problem, the problem is finding a landlord that will accept it haha Thanks! by Luainedinburgh (Thu 1st Jul 2021 6:38am)
  • Thank you 😊 that's a great price and very encouraging by Luainedinburgh (Thu 1st Jul 2021 6:36am)
  • The one in the photo is adorable 😍 Thanks for your suggestions by Luainedinburgh (Thu 1st Jul 2021 6:40am)
  • I did that yesterday, fingers crossed they write us! by Luainedinburgh (Thu 1st Jul 2021 11:07am)
  • Not yet! Thanks by Luainedinburgh (Thu 1st Jul 2021 10:17pm)
  • Never really thought about that to be honest, as you say I feel other may need it more? I mean we are a couple with jobs, I only want a cheaper rent to save a bit more every month... But if is an idea I will definitely have a look. Could you let me know of housing associations? Thank you! by Luainedinburgh (Sat 3rd Jul 2021 7:29am)
  • Awesome! Thanks I will have a look later on, it's an amazing price by Luainedinburgh (Sat 3rd Jul 2021 1:01pm)
  • Is that advertisement of houses for sale in the near future? And then you contact before they are ready of you're interested in the place? Sorry maybe very daft! by Luainedinburgh (Sat 3rd Jul 2021 4:48pm)
  • Our landlord decided to evict us to live in the flat. Not my choice πŸ˜… I was wondering if I get subway and bus how to make it cheaper by Luainedinburgh (Fri 15th Apr 2022 11:10am)
  • So I've read there will be a bus strike on the 4th and 5th May, Is that for drivers too, and would mean an even more reduced service, or no service at all? My partner needs to travel from Riddrie to the city centre both days in the morning and just worrying he might need taxi? Thanks! by Luainedinburgh (Mon 2nd May 2022 12:02pm)
  • Can I ask what you guys do? I'd love to wfh but not sure in what xD I'm currently a carer but need a change... by Luainedinburgh (Thu 18th Aug 2022 10:01am)
  • Hey, I have a 3 leather seater I don't want to keep. Is not the comfiest sofa ever imo but if you would like to have it, please feel free. Can't help with delivery as I don't drive thought. I stay in Ibrox Other than that, people sometimes give furniture in Brilliant bartering Glasgow Facebook group. by Luainedinburgh (Sat 8th Oct 2022 10:30am)
  • Thank you for the reply. Is it possible to book in advance (like right now) with Uber? My work pays double hourly rate on Christmas so I guess that covers the taxi or other arrangements... by Luainedinburgh (Wed 7th Dec 2022 11:47am)
  • Thank you by Luainedinburgh (Wed 7th Dec 2022 12:48pm)
  • Thanks, will give them a phone by Luainedinburgh (Wed 7th Dec 2022 12:57pm)
  • Hi! Just checking in case anyone knows if it's legit... We were evicted from our previous flat, the reason being that the owners needed to live there. Fast forward 7 months and I see the flat advertised again with "let agreed" on the letting agents website, more expensive now of course. I don't know how long it has been advertised for. Can they re-rent it, even before one year of evicting us? It was very stressful for us having to move quickly so I feel they're laughing at tenants. Apparently the landlords work in cruises so they come and go...but wanted to check is this practice is legal. Thanks in advance! by Luainedinburgh (Fri 3rd Feb 2023 8:57am)
  • Do they do Biab? Thanks x by Luainedinburgh (Wed 29th Mar 2023 12:22pm)
  • So as the tittle says...I'd love to go visit the wee birds this summer but struggling to find an "easy" way coming with public transport. I imagine Staffa would be the closest place, but just to gather other options :) thanks! by Luainedinburgh (Thu 13th Apr 2023 1:42pm)
  • I have almost the same experience, including amount of time living in Edinburgh. I'm not Glaswegian thought but from Europe. The worst for me is the public transport, the rent is cheaper yeah but I feel that if you don't drive you are very limited on where to live. by Luainedinburgh (Thu 19th Oct 2023 5:04pm)
