  • That’s why I want to have the washing machine under the sink, by replacing that whole unit and making a cavity for a washing machine as all the necessary pipes are there. If I find mould under there will the housing help at all? by PapajG (Wed 15th Apr 2020 4:05pm)
  • Sorry should have mentioned the two drawings, the original had the washing machine in an area where there was no pipes and we were considering running the pipes under the floor boards, but decided it would be cheaper and less effort to just have it under the sink, also in the drawing where the washing machine is under the sink the washing machine should be on on the right of the cupboards not to the left, as the pipes go up on the left side of cupboards so they would be in the way. by PapajG (Wed 15th Apr 2020 4:13pm)
  • I did view the property with my mum and honestly it was a quick decision to take the house as I want out of my parents house and my mum wants me gone too, we did say we would renovate and put in cupboards and stuff but we didn’t think about the logistics of it all really by PapajG (Wed 15th Apr 2020 4:17pm)
  • Also you cant really see in the pictures but the wall has marks on it as if something dripped down them. by PapajG (Wed 15th Apr 2020 4:23pm)
  • The smell is only noticeable when you open the cupboard, you cant smell anything from the sink drain hole above by PapajG (Wed 15th Apr 2020 4:23pm)
  • Ok, Iv written this comment 5 times now, everytime I keep coming of the reddit app and what I’ve written is deleted ugh. Anyway. Iv went to the property and here’s the [images](https://imgur.com/gallery/bzMi5QO) As you can see it’s pretty clean so it must be the waste spigot that smells. Also we realised the wall is actually concrete and the hole is actually the wall crumbling because there is a wire implanted in it and moisture must have degraded the wall. So I think best thing would be to cut the pipes at the floor and install new shut of valves and run plastic or flex pipes to the new sink. And have the washing machine in the right of the source. Edit: pretty clean in the sense that there’s no mould, just sawdust and cobwebs... by PapajG (Wed 15th Apr 2020 5:47pm)
  • Yeah, am willing to put money into the house cos the rent is hella cheap and even tho its ground floor the house ain’t cold, I haven’t had to turn on the heater ever and the neighbourhood is really nice and I dont mind the small footprint. Am only 22 and staying at my parents house so i got time to renovate it myself was just curious if I’d get any help with it from the housing. by PapajG (Thu 16th Apr 2020 7:50pm)
  • My Tesco sells them, there’s a wee cardboard crate with McGhees rolls next to the bakery section, 4 for £1. You have to be luck to get them tho as they sell fast, they got both soft and crusty version. Tesco Rutherglen Extra btw by PapajG (Mon 18th May 2020 8:35am)

  • Well, if the driver decides to turn up then the bus will come, then if the driver is competent he will arrive on time. Knowing first bus standard neither is likely, plus, even if you get lucky, it’s a concert and there will be hundreds of people wanting on that bus so you might not even get since it will be full by PapajG (Sun 12th Jun 2022 9:52am)
  • Tbh Iv been a bit of a shut in, I focused on my relationship for the past 6 years, she broke up with me, and now I realised that without her I was nobody. I like going to see movies, I used to longboard, I watch anime, am techy, plant dad, I workout, I don’t know! I would be down to do literally do anything, because I wanna try everything and discover who I am and what I like. Am an introverted extrovert, and I blend in with any crowd too. by PapajG (Sun 16th Oct 2022 1:53pm)

  • Definitely didn’t nurture my friendships because I was satisfied with just having my GF and have grown distant from friends, it wasn’t caused by her if that’s what you think. She was in a similar situation. by PapajG (Sun 16th Oct 2022 3:05pm)

  • Yeah, it’s definitely something to keep in mind and prepare for, I think it had a lot to do with my break up, relying on one person for entertainment and companionship put a lot of strain on them by PapajG (Sun 16th Oct 2022 8:42pm)

  • Just checked old messages and it was 20kg of chanterelles 🤷🏻‍♂️, everything was mushroom flavoured for couple of months by PapajG (Wed 28th Jun 2023 9:42pm)
  • My mum has a location for mushrooms but I think she would die first before telling anyone about it, she once brought 3 full Tesco bags of chanterelles, whole bag of boletes, the slippery top variety dunno name, and a couple porcini’s, if it was legal to sell what she finds am sure she would easily make thousands. by PapajG (Wed 28th Jun 2023 9:40pm)
  • Tescos should have kielbasa in the polish fridge section (usually at the edges, opposite the vegan stuff) or search for a polish shop near you, there are loads everywhere by PapajG (Wed 16th Aug 2023 9:51am)
  • Kebabs in Poland are so much better than you get here, the doner meat is actually grilled to a different color other than grey and cut very thin and sometimes even fried a little extra so it’s not looking like a strip of skin for donation. Plus extra vegetable options, olives, feta cheese ! 3 sauces usually and naan is great but the German style crispy bun that they cut into quarters or halves for the xxl kebab is better, once you eat most of the insides of your kebab it turns into a delicious sandwich like thing. I want a kebab right now. Best kebab Iv ever had was at the Smerf Huts in Olsztyn. Oh so delicious. by PapajG (Sat 2nd Sep 2023 12:52am)
