  • Consideration should be taken to the fact alot of flats in glasgow have little or no space for bikes and the close is the only option. by PeddlePaddlePonder (Mon 30th Dec 2019 7:22pm)

  • I'm looking to get a cover up of a small cross. I want to turn it into a butterfly, I'm open to different styles but I personally dig pointilism and geometric styles. by PeddlePaddlePonder (Wed 29th Jan 2020 5:11pm)
  • Thanks for all your suggestions. I looked through all of them and I've decided to go with aughras eye cos damn that artwork is stunning! :) Happy days by PeddlePaddlePonder (Thu 30th Jan 2020 11:11am)
  • Aw man I feel your pain I had mine nicked! Did you ask police to check cameras, you'd think it being in town and the amount of jakeballs about there should be a camera covering the rack? Its absolutely ridiculous how many bikes are nicked on the daily in glasgow, makes my blood boil. Hope you get yours back. I'll keep an eye out. by PeddlePaddlePonder (Mon 13th Apr 2020 4:12am)
  • I cycle a hybrid daily and I cycled it to Arran loaded with kit. If you are not used to hills you might want help with an electric to boost you over the ayrshire hills but other than that it's a great journey, all the best! by PeddlePaddlePonder (Mon 1st Jun 2020 7:12am)
  • Oh and bike theft in glasgow is ridiculous. Think 10 to 20 bikes nicked a day. Get yourself the most bad ass heavy duty lock preferably with an alarm and register your bike or get a tracker ....or just sleep with it in your bed, I'm kidding but seriously do not leave it outside. by PeddlePaddlePonder (Mon 1st Jun 2020 7:18am)
  • This guide is awesome. I had worries about cycling this stretch so put it off but now I'm definitely going to do it. Thank you :) by PeddlePaddlePonder (Sun 28th Jun 2020 10:25pm)
  • Hello Internet stranger, I don't know of you'll care but I done it!!!! I cycled glasgow to Balmaha and then came down the west highland way back to glasgow. Im super happy cos it has given me tons of confidence and it was your advice that got me going! Thank you :) by PeddlePaddlePonder (Sun 18th Oct 2020 2:11pm)
  • Can we get a better litter awareness program in schools. I have no idea what they teach the kids about it now but it doesn't seem to be working. I live near a secondary school and the litter from nearby take aways around the school is atrocious by PeddlePaddlePonder (Sat 20th Mar 2021 11:48am)
  • Alot of people go to the parks because they don't have their own bit of outside space. If the council wants less crowded parks then they need to start building housing with gardens, balconies or even roof gardens! There have been 3 new residential developments near me and none of them even have a communal garden let alone their own! Its all car spaces and every window look into another, of course people are gonna head to the parks. by PeddlePaddlePonder (Sun 4th Apr 2021 1:04pm)
  • I have vague memories of this warehouse! Did it also have a room that simulated smoke from a fire. I have memories of walking in a line with other kids through a fake smoke filled livingroom.... I thought I'd imagined this but the train thing rings a bell and I think it was in the same warehouse? by PeddlePaddlePonder (Wed 28th Jul 2021 8:20am)
  • I was coming back from the O2 academy and me and my mate hailed a black cab. The driver expressed his disappointment in how short our journey was but took us anyway. ( Bog standard journey for a sat night, town to shawlands) Anyway, we get to the destination. I jump out, my mates still in the car leaning over to pay the guy when he slams on the accelerator and speeds off with my mate in the back. He dropped him off at the police station! Nothing came of it, did not get his fare anyway!!! Don't understand the point of it and it just freaked us the fuck out. by PeddlePaddlePonder (Sat 21st Aug 2021 9:30am)
  • Whitewater rafting, tubing, inflatable kayaking or river belly boarding at Outdoor Persuits Scotland based at Pinkston Whitewater Centre at the top of town on the canal. Fab bunch that work there, they will make your day unforgettable. They also do canyoning trips away from Glasgow and other adventure activities. by PeddlePaddlePonder (Sat 21st Aug 2021 9:44am)
  • The whole thing was just as unbelievable then as it is now. by PeddlePaddlePonder (Sat 21st Aug 2021 1:21pm)
