  • Generally you won't find cheap switch games, this is because of the way in which they're made. They'll pretty much not drop in price unless the switch falls massively out of popularity. by RevolXpsych (Tue 19th Nov 2019 11:22am)
  • It's not the colours of the trans flag mate, sorry. [Close but nae cigar](https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fotolip.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2016%2F05%2FTrans-flag-1.png&f=1&nofb=1) by RevolXpsych (Tue 19th Nov 2019 11:39am)
  • Education will only be free for OP as long as we stay in the EU (guess we'll see how that goes) Apart from that, come to Scotland! It's a beautiful place to be especially if you're a lover of the outdoors, even Glasgow's architecture is stunning (as someone from the NE, I'm glad to not see grey all the time) with an incredibly friendly population. by RevolXpsych (Thu 28th Nov 2019 4:12pm)
  • Don't know if it's due to living on a crossroads where emergency vehicles seem to come past a lot but I hear an unusual amount of fire engines go past my flat compared to previous cities. Last night there were more than usual but I suppose this situation probably explains that one by RevolXpsych (Tue 10th Dec 2019 10:44am)
  • The right to roam laws are the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 as long as the Scottish Outdoor Acess Code is exercised however I don't think most people are going to want to hop those fences by RevolXpsych (Sat 28th Dec 2019 6:37pm)
  • The Labour party hasn't made some giant leap to the far left, it took itself out of the Lib Dem's stomping ground of the centre field and actually nudged itself to the left, the "far left" of the labour party is a farcical idealism made up by the media to smear Corbyn even more. As for the rest of the comment, do you really believe that a system designed solely to bankroll more and more people while starving and killing others that seem to not make the cut in the rich's eyes has really been responsible for the wellbeing of people and not people's own ingenuity to design and create our way to a better world? by RevolXpsych (Tue 7th Jan 2020 10:17am)

  • Aye and that I get >Firstly do not stop and apologise for not having money. Show these cunts one glimmer of weakness and you’re fucked. I literally cut them off the second they attempt to start talking to me. A loud firm no does the trick. ^that fuckery? Naw. by RevolXpsych (Thu 27th Feb 2020 12:50pm)
  • I'm not saying to hand over your wallet and tell them the pin to every one of your cards I'm saying stop being a cunt to people and if you *can* give them why not? Everyone is only a couple of rent or mortgage payments away from being homeless by RevolXpsych (Thu 27th Feb 2020 4:15pm)
  • Honestly get straight to fuck, like fining those who have no money is gonna work, pick your head out your arse mate. I'm also hardly rolling in cash here, I'll make less this year than the Heathrow CEO will make today and I know what it's like loving paycheck to paycheck, read some more of this thread and you'll realise I'm not harassing to get people to give I just wanted people to have some fucking empathy for homeless people and not total utter disdain, people fucking make Glasgow sure enough. by RevolXpsych (Sun 1st Mar 2020 8:19am)
  • Doesn't mean it's also not a valid way to help, I highly doubt the guy I said about it to in the first place is going to be helping in other ways though by RevolXpsych (Sun 1st Mar 2020 8:21am)
  • I'm a big fan of ohpandah (I know there's a lot of people in this sub that aren't fans but characters are a big yes for me) and negativedestination pieces. We need more characters to make things more interesting than just tags all the time. The bigger commissioned pieces around the city aren't graf art the same and just don't do it for me, the piece OP posted is decent where abouts was it and are there other pieces of the same artist around the city still remaining? by RevolXpsych (Thu 5th Mar 2020 4:52pm)
  • Oh the one next to Stereo? It's got a dog as well yeah? One by RogueOne. He's a good artist but he's one of these big commission piece artists I mentioned, not graf art if it's commissioned by the city imo but that's me. Awesome yeah if you hear back then I'll keep my eye out! by RevolXpsych (Thu 5th Mar 2020 4:58pm)
  • Generally these are empty businesses, graf art will appear more when the city does not provide legal spots and GCC has a raging hard on for buffing pieces/tags while giving no legal spots. It's a simple solution but one the council either doesn't see or tries to make itself blind to. by RevolXpsych (Thu 5th Mar 2020 11:06pm)

  • This is exactly it. Someone at my work told this to a couple of customers today and then they looked at each other to look back at my colleague "aye that's our son", everyone knows everyone when communities are that small but you wouldn't think you'd land up chstting to the folks of whoever it was! by RevolXpsych (Mon 16th Mar 2020 11:04pm)
  • And different from people who have it that simply haven't been tested. Unless you're hospitalised you're pretty much not being tested so there will be significantly more than this map/data is showing. by RevolXpsych (Mon 16th Mar 2020 11:07pm)

  • Well that makes something more solid in my trousers.. I'm very very lucky if I get the 30Mbps advertised because there's so many of us in the flat. That brings happy tears to my eyes, one day.. by RevolXpsych (Sat 4th Jul 2020 5:46pm)

  • If anyone is interested in the vampire hunting thing search for The Gorbals Vampire, a mental little bit of histories from the 50's. Are there any graveyards in particular aside from the necropolises? by RevolXpsych (Sun 26th Jul 2020 1:37pm)
  • It's not long past wakeup time, I didn't even see a joke in this until you pointed it out by RevolXpsych (Sun 26th Jul 2020 2:24pm)
  • I went for a wander around here yesterday and it was beautiful, especially in the rain! I think next time I'll have more time to wander though because I missed out the new section of the graveyard however it is definitely the older part that interests me more. I wish I'd remembered about the page marking the slightly more significant/funky ones but it was incredible to walk about the cemetery so overgrown, I think it's a nice look and would maybe be worth keeping to an extent after the council starts to go about and make sure no greenery touches the paths (😒🙄) by RevolXpsych (Tue 28th Jul 2020 12:25am)

  • You're in the West End pal, no West Glasgow 😉 I hope you've settled in alright, making friends isn't too hard with how sound people can be here but then there's the pandemic getting in the way a wee bit! by RevolXpsych (Tue 29th Sep 2020 8:01pm)
  • As someone who has to listen to the hands-free phone conversations that happen at the junction next to my flat: cars are nowhere as soundproof as people think by RevolXpsych (Mon 25th Jan 2021 1:04pm)
  • Except no using public transport if they're not a driver by RevolXpsych (Sun 21st Feb 2021 7:16am)
  • I notice a few people talking about graffiti. I understand covering offensive graffiti however there are little to no legal spaces for people to practise their craft and to create street art. GGC spent [£649,914](https://www.cleaning-matters.co.uk/graffiti-removal-costs-uk) in 2019 (the most out of any UK council) in creating grey squares on walls around the city, covering some genuinely good pieces in the process of squandering this money. Would the council create legal spaces for people to practise and create street art? Is there a constructive plan or is their intention to simply continue making the city an odd art collection of grey paint splodges? by RevolXpsych (Sat 20th Mar 2021 2:50pm)
  • Black and grey as in realism? by RevolXpsych (Thu 17th Jun 2021 10:51pm)
  • How so? by RevolXpsych (Sun 11th Jul 2021 5:06pm)
  • Only general enquiries as well unfortunately. Sometimes who you get on the phone makes all the difference, I just seem to be hitting a wall of nobody can give me any reason why I'm at double the wait time right now supposedly because there's no way to find anything out except the enquiries form. I've done the form but it has a possible wait time of double what the permit application has. by RevolXpsych (Fri 6th Aug 2021 1:33pm)
  • No need for that mate, carry everything **on** your phone except your ID, leave the physicals at home! That way you're even more fucked when you're in a different city! by RevolXpsych (Thu 9th Sep 2021 10:39am)
  • Don't think it was really for your benefit anyways mate, more like for the woman who tossed around the jakey like a wet paper bag by RevolXpsych (Fri 3rd Dec 2021 7:34pm)
  • I (NB25) feel very similar, I moved here not long before the pandemic began and with being introverted too I had just started to find my feet when it started. I've found some community through being Queer but I'd like to find some pals through hobbies too; board and video games, reading and walking outside, amongst others. A lot of helpful people have suggested tabletop through some of the shops in the city - can you just walk up to these? Do you book prior? What's the script with these? Thank you! by RevolXpsych (Sat 4th Jun 2022 9:51am)
  • On your last point: so? I'm unsure if you're against that by the small comment but if you were getting a good service through your taxes would you not be happier to pay them? by RevolXpsych (Sat 18th Jun 2022 8:24pm)
  • What do you get for your taxes here that you're happy with? Healthcare is getting worse, public transport is atrocious, roads are bad at the best of times, benefits for those who need them are not nearly enough, and it goes on and on. by RevolXpsych (Sat 18th Jun 2022 8:24pm)
  • No, it's the repetition of the ones on the flats and they're really odd looking so I was wondering why they look like that, why they're on a bunch of blocks on the same street or if they had any particular significance. by RevolXpsych (Sat 20th May 2023 5:48pm)
  • They are really quite odd and I wasn't exactly sure what to search for with their weird structure/look, appreciate the link! by RevolXpsych (Sat 20th May 2023 6:02pm)
